Sex Bizarre Fifty 1990, The year in which Deee-Lite was topping the charts with ‘Groove Is In The Heart’, The Happy Monday’s were breaking through and Madonna was ‘Vogueing’. Also, of course the year in which Sex Bizarre reached its fiftieth celebratory issue. Only it was business as usual for the Danish/German conglomerate with no attempt to mark the milestone. If it was me on the Editorial Team I might have dedicated a few pages to past glories, perhaps reflecting on the models who have appeared on the pages, and looking at past designs. Oh, well, perhaps I shall one day try do it myself! That’s not to say that this issue is a disappointment, far from it, once again the stories live up to expectations, and when they do ‘look back’, it’s a good revisionist story from Sex Bizarre 31. Our High Streets have changed over the past few decades, I see a proliferation of nail bars and Turkish Barbers. The idea behind the first story, ‘Urine Game’, has a manicure context, two young women meet in a parlour and one thing leads to another. One of the women reminds me a little of Laura Dern who starred in a couple of David Lynch films, Blue Velvet (1986) and Wild at Heart (actually released in 1990), check out the haircut! The initial seduction between the (slightly) older customer and the lean, tall manicurist is handled with some aplomb by the director and photographer. Nice underwear reveals, delicate silks and nylons, fondling and kissing. The customer dares to pee first, pulling her light blue silk panties to one side and laughing as she urinates on the floor of the parlour. Then the young manicurist sits back as the customer fingers her before releasing her ‘plug’. When the manicurist pees, it’s more unruly and a little golden in colour. Then it turns into a full blown pee orgy, with the older girl taking the reigns, openly urinating on the younger girl. It all takes place in the parlour, on the seats with the equipment visible in the background. As befitting most ‘lesbian’ stories in these magazines a dildo is produced so that they can at least have penetrative sex. It’s one of the best two-girl stories produced in the 1990’s and a great way to start the decade. After a two page advertisement for a ‘magazine index’ for the year 1989/1990, (some of my collector friends say that they ordered the index in order to ‘keep-up’ with the publications), the second story, ‘Ebony and Amber’, it’s the second time that a black model has featured in the magazine. Leaner and more ‘sassy’ than the one in Issue 49, she’s wearing a nice tight fitting sparkly dress and looks as though she’s just spent the night in a nightclub. She sucks him off as he enters the bedroom, wearing his boxer shorts, until the action moves to the bathroom. Her purple skimpy panties hardly cover up her tight black pubic curls, as the sex evolves from sucking to fucking. She’s the first to pee, sitting on the edge of the bath, and opening her bright pink gash so that the camera can capture the broken beads of pee streaming forth. When he urinates on her she has her back to the camera, as he pees over her back, the urine making her pert black bottom slick with wetness. Then the shot used on the front cover, before he jacks off in her mouth. Two Golden Girls, was first published in Sex Bizarre 31, (See Review). I have since located the film associated with this tale of two female friends sunbathing in a garden. They eventually reveal more of the bodies in eyeshot of the ginger-haired gardener. One of the women seems to have needed a little persuasion to drink from his big cock, being held by her big-boobed friend. It was good to see it again, in a new format with a few additional shots from the original story. In the final story, ‘Pee Addicts’, I’m reminded a little of Kylie Minogue, at least in the style of clothing and hair from her early period. It also features a male, presumably German who has the craggy good looks of a retired German Bundesliga footballer and the clothes to match. Clothed in red and black, with a saucy little PVC Mini skirt, she drinks champagne and unzips his flies to reveal his balls and erect cock. She sucks him off, he’s still wearing his suit, before disrobing and fucking her, she has notable pale skin that gives her a natural look. As they fuck, she pours the cool bubbly over his penis, she has small breasts topped with two prominent brown areola. She pees, hard and long, in a standing position, she has a small, subtle tattoo on her upper left arm. She squats, an invitation for him to piss in her mouth, his urine is golden, it must have tasted sweet and sour. She looks directly into the camera as if to show that she enjoys the taste. There’s often an analogy between ‘champagne’, ‘wine’ and piss, in Sex Bizarre, glasses are often used to fill with urine, and there’s a fine example in this story. She holds the flute close to her mouth as he masturbates into her mouth during a stunning final three shots. Another great issue, but as I said at the start of the review, it might have been a treat for dedicated collectors to see some celebration of the ‘50th’, with highlights from glories past! -
