Not many will judge you for peeing in the sea or on the beach, and certainly not here. The beach may be tamer than peeing on someone’s carpet but it’s one of my favourite pee places. I try to avoid peeing in a toilet when I’m at the beach, and always like hearing of others’ adventures. Last time I was at the beach in winter I pissed into the sea from the shore a few times.

Or, y’know, do it right where you are. 😉

I didn’t think being cut was that unusual in the US but it may have changed in recent years. Kids can be pretty merciless about anything that’s unusual about you. From my experience hippies are usually pretty happy to piss outdoors, which makes your parents’ hard line on this stand out even more.

Maybe you should somehow see what her opinion is of peeing somewhere where cleanup is no issue, like outdoors or in the bath/shower (how to drop this into conversation?). Her reaction to peeing on carpet may be “wtf? absolutely not”, however she is asked, but I just don’t know - pee opinions vary a lot
