For me the manual shift is all part of the driving pleasure. I like the part-subconscious, part-front-of-mind series of motions involved in changing gear, and I wouldn't like to be without it to be honest. But I can see @Paulypeeps point.

Sounds like your situation is like ours then @Geepee9 - we have both children with us for a few weeks. And while that's lovely of course, it's nice when there are more opportunities for spontaeous and uninihibited playtimes!
