Have I ever had a dream in which I was peeing: yes, more than once but peeing was just a portion of those dreams. A few times when waking up from / during those dreams I felt like I needed to pee, a few times it felt like i was peeing (but wasn't), I never actually was wetting the bed.

Let me start with your last question (relating to fabric). If it is something which you can wash (put into a washing machine: think towels, sheets, clothing) a few pees will not be an issue. If it isn't (rugs, upholstered furniture) it could be an issue. As to places you could pee; floors, tables, sinks, drawers, towels, washing machine, dishwasher, out windows, in pots/pans/dishes/glasses, in buckets...

Have to agree with the basic premise that it is easier for women to pee discretely for those very reasons. Additionally if a woman is wearing a long (ankle-length or just above the ankle) dress or skirt wet streaks on the legs wouldn't even be visible.

Something which might help with drying the bed: turn on a fan (pointing at the bed) every morning when you get out of bed and run a dehumidifier in your bedroom. The fan should encourage the water in the pee (in the mattress) to evaporate more quickly while the dehumidifier draws that moisture out of the air.

That's a good one. A bit like standing in the tub or shower fully dressed and peeing

Largely on board with your thinking Vassel. Although, I suspect the phrase originated in "go to the outhouse" which, as a separate building than one's home or place of business, would have entailed going outside and walking some distance.
