@lineyoga - Hopefully you've still got the 'edit' capability on this post... You should be able to use the Peefans Poll facility - it'll make the questions easier to read, but the biggie is that once people start to answer it'll automatically show the results as bar graphs. (Also in Q2, I'm guessing for a lot of us if we leave a line it's to pee somewhere other than a different toilet)

My one area of comment is nothing to do with the characters or their actions. Just the observation that in the most part your narrative is in the past tense but on occasions jumps into present tense description. My personal preference for what it’s worth is definitely for the past tense description of story telling. It feels much more natural for me to have a person relaying on what they saw, heard and said rather than the third person telling me what they are seeing, hearing and saying. First point is that in many parts of the world the term 'college' refers to a local educational establishment which a lot of kids attend when aged 16-18 and still living at home with parents. So around the world the 'majority' of people go to college in their home town. I agree the United States is enormous, however it accounts for only 4.25% of the world's population (in 2020). Please understand @kitty and mimi - although the site here has a membership of over 40,000 actually there are a much smaller number of members who regularly visit now. And an even smaller number of members who actively engage on the site in replying to posts. Neither of those things alone are trivial, in fact both are beyond the abilities of the majority of us - so huge kudos on achieving either and (kudos^2) for achieving both in one weekend.
