That's such a great account! Than you so much for sharing it with us. The context is very familiar to me - my wife too won't go outside unless she's about to wet herself, for reasons of shyness - so I can absolutely understand how you felt. Fingers crossed that some of her shyness might be overcome and she'll be happier in future to wee outside.

This is a good idea. I might try something tomorrow. I'm working from home but on my own and it's been a while since I was a bit naughty. I could play management-speak bingo. Every time I hear a piece of management BS on my Zoom calls, or read something equivalent in an incoming email, I have to let a little out 🙂. I may need to drink quite a lot during the day 😉

Just a quick update on the tomato irrigation system. Following advice from @gldenwetgoose I have replaced the Arduino Uno with a Nano Every (very much neater and more compact - I could fit it on the perf board) and dispensed with the separate controller 9V battery (using the 12V regulated supply that also powers the solenoid valve). I finally got round to testing those improvements, and it all still works. Calibration still to do (the tomatoes are growing nicely, but I am still watering manually at the moment). But that trial and error stage of the project will be fun and I have several weeks

I agree with the previous replies. For me a pleasurable pee is a relative rarity and most are functional. There are ways to make a functional pee a little more fun - perhaps by just holding for a few seconds when you think you're about to start - but that's not in the same league as a special pee (to use @Sophie's phrase) or wetting, or playing with a partner. Further, observing my wife peeing isn't always special either, when she's on the toilet doing a functional wee. But it doesn't take much of a change in her attitude to her wee to turn it into something more special. But that doesn't happ

The weather here has been great for that sort of thing recently, hasn't it? When it was hot a couple of days ago and I was at home with time to spend in the garden, I just peed whenever I felt I needed to - a wonderful sense of freedom. It was a few hours of non-toilet peeing during the day. Don't know whether this is off-topic or not really.
