Pipes are pipes. Bidet is generally a larger target, saves water, and no seat to lift/lower.

How did the excursion go? Future suggestions, into drink cup and absentmindedly leave in theater, create a puddle by someone else's car in parking lot, and of course the fountains if the mall has one.

I don't consider myself to have a super large bladder but regularly exceed a liter in morning pisses and when drinking - confirmed via charity shop measuring jugs.

Just how big is that tank of yours?! Two minutes with the power and noise you describe has to easily be over half a gallon.

I did, my local library is in an older building so restrooms are shoehorned in randomly. I entered and saw two stalls, lack of urinals not a flag as the restrooms are not consistent and it was a smaller space. I lock a stall and begin peeing in toilet and someone else enters the other stall. I finish up and a female voice says "you know this is a women's restroom" I jump and get out ASAP.

I recall hearing that if targeting the tires of your own vehicle, public urination is legal in the UK. No idea on the truth to that.

This is as far as I evolved the story before triggering the filter. Samantha had been waiting in line for the bathroom at the crowded amusement park for what felt like an eternity. I'm a little confused on the mechanics of this. I get the gutter at the bottom but that risks the fine wood work getting piss soaked. Aim down is not really natural and if I'm consuming copious amounts of the product over the bar even less likely to happen.

I too choose to relieve myself for comfort and have probably watered hundreds of plants to date, being male more trees than leaves. I have not really tracked if I've been a terminal influence on any as I rarely circle back but would not consider a plant to be a sacrifice, in your case they were likely annuals doomed to frost soon anyway and wild rather than someone's prize rose garden. Watering the plants is nothing different than other species do.

Volunteer to take out the trash and pickup any take out.

This does sound like a positive innovation. More engagement with the splash pad/target, more of the urine stays in the urinal and off the floor.

The creature already didn't have a bright future by its presence in the toilet bowl. It would also be total chance that the stream hit the cricket. I probably wouldn't aim for the cricket but I wouldn't hesitate to relieve myself and let nature sort itself out. Now unwanted insects I catch around the house get a watery grave and if I have a need to go at the time, it's going to be a combined flush.

That's how it happened the first time. If you keep making this trip, necessity may cause a second showering.

Do you often take photos of your puddles? Glad to see you used some ingenuity and nature to solve your problem. Also glad things are somewhat normal in your neighborhood.

I am of the opinion that the idea of cameras is a greater deterrent than the presence of cameras. Cameras are nearly universal but rarely actively watched, perhaps more so now with labor shortage and security guards low paid. If there was more pissing observations on tape there would be more uploads than currently exist online. The camera might catch you pissing in a shop doorway but no one is reviewing that recording unless the window gets broken too.

This sets the bar very high for story of the year.

The other forum had several posts from a credible female poster, Jill Shomer, of 25+ feet. You may need to settle for winning the mens division.
