Admittedly your compilations could be longer and maybe higher resolution, but remember most people aren't going to watch on cinema sized sc

Let's not get too critical and try to over-analyse here. @Sunfoxxx has shared an experience that happened in pre-school, many years ago... I think historically, and by that I mean back to the 70's - 90's, the UK was pretty focussed around high fuel costs.
