I remember your posts from last year. How could I forget, since so many were truly memorable! It's great to hear you're back again and it seems you've quickly taken up from where you left off, as if you had no interruption. It seems you've already four great days and nights, maybe especially the nights. So, what big plans do you have for your remaining time here?

As a sailor, I've done my share of standing and the stern and checking the wake. (No, the photo isn't me. I have much better equipment and a longer trajectory.)

On a small open boat, you're almost never never more than a few feet from one. Often people who never knew each other when they stepped aboard become best friends by the time they get back ashore. The general protocol among boaters is not to stare, but that doesn't mean we're always going to look away. One memorable situation was when I shared a 20-foot boat with a male colleague and four post-college age women for a day. By the time we returned, all but one had peed over the side. I don't remember anybody going through their swimsuit either.

The short answer is, yes. We boaters, both men and women, tend to pee over the side. Sometimes together 😁, but usually one at a time. The more discreet often use a bucket and dump it when they are done. But, since the boating community is a pretty close one, most consider that a waste of effort and time.

I love hearing the escapades of your eager bladder. Reading your stories feels almost as lovely me for me as it must for you in their creation. It's good to know you were happy when you went back home, but I trust that you weren't long empty.

Consider yourself an influence for the good. I'm sure those countless times you've offered her encouragement as well led by example have helped change her attitude and behavior.

But sometimes, like when the stars align just right, fantasies just might come true. 😁

I'm truly sorry I missed this event. I'd like to think my time there would have been most instructive. I'm sure I would have taken advantage of the hydration stations, or should I say full advantage. And I would have seen to it that I'd experimented with as many surfaces as I had time for. Not being shy to start up a conversation with strangers, I'm sure I would have made many new friends, at least those of the female gender.

In cased you ever need a volunteer, apparently I'm very good at giving direction. 🤣

It certainly appears you had some pressure. It was especially satisfying watching.

Given a choice between being clumsy and not doing anything because you feel you're not "perfect", you find you miss out on a great many adventures if you choose the latter. Your developing skills seem to be working out very well for you. Maybe us, too. 😆
