  1. Motivation is a really strange thing, isn't it? Different for everyone. In life generally as well as in exercise. I think for me, if I can see some progress in terms of distance run, or pace, that is motivation enough to want to get out again the next time. Sort of medium-term motivation that will (often) overcome the short-term lack of motivation caused by the fact that it's below freezing, dark and blowing a gale. I think it is probably quite easy to get caught up in the stats and I am not sure how to deal with that other than maybe trying to record the bare minimum details: enough to see pr
  2. I used to be a big reader, especially in my teens and early 20s. I read a lot of classic fiction and contemporary fiction (of the time). I don't read much at all now (K does ... a lot ... mostly contemporary fiction in various genres), but I am currently enjoying a lightweight murder mystery by Richard Osman (it's probably just a UK thing, but he's sold a *lot* of books here in the last few years!) Recommendations are tricky: everyone's tastes are so different. Among the classic novels I read, those by Thomas Hardy and by Turgenev (in translation!) stand out. But if anyone wanted to under
  3. Main chat window's been down again for me, most of the afternoon (UK). Works OK from the little pop up box. [Chrome on Win 11 desktop.]
  4. I know she's in the industry, but I have always had a bit of a thing for Candi Blows (aka Ellie Rose and Lauren Starr) and not just because she comes from Hull and has a lovely voice. She's a redhead for starters, and has a very sexy mouth.
  5. Thanks 🙂 I hope we'll continue to think of fun things to do.
  6. Throw them away in my direction! I accept the risk 🙂
  7. Last night K and I role-played the cheesiest trope of all time – the visit of a plumber to a desperate housewife. I rang the doorbell and carried my toolbox inside and we were straight into character and into the kitchen, where I was shown the problem in the cupboard under the sink. K left me to make a start and disappeared for a couple of minutes. When she came back she was dressed in a little miniskirt. Here are some highlights of the dialogue that followed: Plumber: “Goodness me! Are you wearing any knickers madam?” Client: “No – I often don’t bother … I guess in your li
  8. Sounds like a *lot* of fun Midori 😊. Thanks for writing about it for us ❤️
  9. Wow - Gamazda went to a lot of trouble to carefully waterproof her keyboard ... and this is a very sexy video indeed - thank you 🙂 I am, I suspect, second in line to help her out of her wet clothes and warm her up 🙂
  10. First 10k run for ages: 55:38. Happy with any time, tbh 🙂
  11. Glad to hear it. Hope the winter's not too long and deep this year.
  12. I'm not a church person, or religious. But I do sing in choirs where the repertoire is often sacred music, and I love visiting church buildings for the architecture. But day to day I am not religious at all. I can imagine that it can be difficult if you are in a country / community where religion is commonplace.
  13. Good to see you back! Hope all is well with you
  14. K and I were dancing the Cha Cha Cha to this on Wednesday 🙂 (Also, Virginia Torres is sexy af)
