… I’m not a sexologist - I don’t even play one on TV or role-play as one on the internet - but I do remember coming across (insert double entendre here) research about how sexual arousal stops us being grossed out, which… makes sense, really, because going “ew, that’s all wet and slimy” during foreplay would kill the mood pretty rapidly. Being given the raging horn by stuff that would otherwise be gross is right next door to this, mentally speaking. I don’t know if that reassures you at all, but it reassured me when I learned of it 🙂
