I am not a medical professional but the idea that peeing in the shower can damage your pelvic floor seems far-fetched. I am male so peeing standing it the natural position. No worries. Although like all such circumstances it was very unpleasant at the time, I enjoy looking back on it now. I have a truly odd situation here. Of course I pee while sitting to poop but for some weird physical reason I can not empty my bladder sitting.
