It's an interesting question... And I guess mine would be the relative near past as someone has said of the Woodstock era festivals, or perhaps the equivalent European festivals. And it can capture still images or video clips. But there it’s usefulness ends. There’s not control over image format and if I remember rightly it’s a PNG format output. What I often end up doing is using a Photoshop script to pull a batch of grabs from their folder and to resize to a sensible size, then save as JPG with a moderate compression. Hi @puddyls - yes, an image file which is in the 'GIF' format can be loaded with the Add Files option in a post. But (at least on my Apple phone) even with Live Images, it's only the still image that loads on the site (when it's not larger than the 5MB post limit). Guess we need some app to save as GIF or to string together a sequence of stills... No something I've looked into so far.
