Protecting a car seat?

I have a fantasy I want to fulfil at some point, I want to wet myself in my car but I absolutely love my car, I don't even eat in it so a damaged seat would be disastrous. Does anyone have any advice for protecting the car and seat? I've put a plastic bag down in the past but that was just a barrier for my wet clothes not a full blown wetting.

Perhaps a plastic cover that you can get for like farmers or off roading, then a nice folded thich towel under your bum. 😄

I have a set of protective seat covers bought when I had a 4x4 and was doing outdoors type stuff. 
No idea if they’re truly waterproof - the fabric is, but they have stitching which I guess may leak a delicious submersion in pee - I haven’t tried them.

You could use the seat covers like @gldenwetgoose suggested and add a small hand towel to help catch any extra from leaking thru or running off your seat.

I have a car that's only a few months old. Like Sophie, I wouldn't even think eating in there.

But, last month an elderly aunt came to  visit. The passenger seat got covered with two layers of plastic sheeting. And, I'm so glad to have those heavy duty rubber floormats.

I've only tied this once, as an experiment, but it works for me ... a large bin bag (think garden size) with a nice big towel on top.  The bin bag is large enough to cover the seat completely with some extra to extend up onto the seat back.  This ensured nothing leaked down into the gap between the seat and the back.  The towel should be large enough to absorb a full bladder of pee, I.e. bath towel sized.

May be a bit overkill, but I like my car, too.  😀

Disposable mattress cover, or puppy pads as others have mentioned but mattress covers are larger and designed to take more volume, and a couple of towels has worked for me.

You can always use a black light after to check none escaped and clean up any that did so your car stays pristine!

I am like you @Sophie, in that I love the idea but wouldn’t want to ruin the car.  I Have done it once by putting a seat cover and a towel folded to be six layers thick.   That worked fine.   I am also very tempted to buy car seat covers by DryRobe.  Link and photo below.   They are designed for people you get into the car in wet swimwear or wetsuits after surfing, swimming, kayaking etc and have a waterproof layer and an absorbent wool layer.  They also go in the washing machine.   Lots of fun for £40

Our local mechanic gave M a couple of covers that she uses to protect client car seats. M still uses a couple of old towels though, these are stitched too, puddles may seep through. It really depends on how much you want to let go, lol.

I have used a plastic backed table cover. The up side does absorb some while the plastic side down stops any soak-thru. I have emptied many times onto a large beach towel this way with nothing escaping!!

You'll want to have someone absorbent. Even if you do full waterproof seat covers all that pee has to go somewhere in your car.
