What kind of stuff do you write?

Science fiction, but I'm committed to keeping that part of my life separate from the forum here, since this fetish has been used as a means to demonize me before. As a writer, it would be even worse.

I also write erotic fiction, some of which will be put up on this site sooner or later. I'm actually working on a pee-related story right now; part of an anthology, actually.

Iam a farmer in WESTERN Canada. I help to feed the world lol.

I emphasize the western part because our country is in turmoil right now. Our current liberal federal government is choosing to shit on the western part of Canada,so iam drawing a line in the sand and saying iam a western canadian instead of Canadian. Sorry for the rant but iam tired of being shit on by our left wing government.

Semi-retired, but still do things.

I have 6 clients that I've created computer servers for on Azure, look after their accounts, keep their businesses running smoothly (it’s easy, 30 min per day tops, MS handles most of the admin)

I build things out of wood, outdoor tables and chairs, more of a hobby then a money maker.

I had paid work with a tour company, but this fell apart and they basically shut me out.

PC work, network security, servers and such like, again it's more of a hobby than a job.

I also play around with Arduino, building things.

Maigh does volunteer work at local aged care facility, 3 days per week. She loves the oldies, and they love her.

I am a materials and processes engineer, retired from industry about 20 years ago. Was involved in a start-up company, making a bypass oil filtration system for over-the -road trucks, until about 6 months ago. I am still active, working out with weights, at the gym, and walking. I did a lot of writing, professionally, and now enjoy writing erotic fiction and non-fiction.

  • 3 weeks later...

Seeing that some here are already retired, I'm on the other and of the working-life-cycle.

I'm currently facing my last months of becoming an IT specialist, with focus on networking, but probably will dive a bit more towards security topics.

I'm quite intrigued where I will stand at the end of the year.

Hello everyone! As title says, what kind of job you're doing for living?

I begin: Mechanic welder. I build and repair snow plows and sanders on trucks. Like this one:

Very cool. Up until Christmas the snowplows weren't busy here lol. Finally got some snow to keep them a little busy lol

I've had a lot of different jobs in the last 3 years. Worked in a supermarket, was cleaner in a hospital, was a deck hand on a ship, build up festival areas, and worked as a bartender. But now my job is building electricity panels since only two weeks.

What kind of ships did you sail on?
