I’ve done it plenty of time in the sea, never had any issues but i can’t force it, I really need to go for it to happen. 
 

on the shore, I wear baggy board shorts so I have on a couple of occasions just peed in those as I sat on the sand. As they’re baggy, I can even get away with poking myself out as I sit and just peeing directly on the sand without too much risk.

In my early teens we used to spend a lot of time, on family holidays, on beaches with no toilets.  Even before then I was fascinated with the sight of girls peeing.  I vividly remember the first time I saw a girl of about my own age going to the toilet in the sea.  I was watching her, with mild interest, at the end of the day.   She was about to pack up and leave the beach but first she jogged down the beach and into the shallows.  There, in water that was not much more than ankle deep, she dropped to squat with her shorts just touching the water.  She parted her legs to stare at her own crotch.  I suddenly realised, with a jolt, that she was pissing in her shorts, right in front of my eyes.  I stared and stared.

It hit me then, that if she was pissing openly in public in that way then probably most other girls on the beach would probably do so too.  By then the beach was almost empty.  I decided that tomorrow, I would watch for girls peeing.  I did see another very soon after arriving on the beach the next day.  That encouraged me to keep looking.

I had a former GF that couldn't go standing in water (oceans/lakes), so she would just sit in the shallow water at the edge of the beach and go through her suit.  I always knew what she was doing.

One of my female cousins came over and joined us as she was quite proficient at peeing standing for a girl. The height of the barrier concealed our lower halves from the people in the club but I'm sure not from all the people in the public beach. In one way this seems quite bold but in another not so much. The same type of wooden stick barriers were used to devide the beach from the dunes and kids would often run back to pee on those barriers by the dunes. So same type of barrier just a different location by a fancy club.

 

Another time we were at a beach cabana for the day and we were building a large sand castle with many motes etc.. A family at the next cabana over had joined us. As I was working on part of the castle, a young girl from next door was helping me dig from inside the wall. All of the sudden she stopped and looked straight at me intensely with knees bent in a high squat. I was confused why she stopped digging. A stream emerged onto the sand and some more that is not appropriate to describe in this forum. She then continued digging. I went off crying that this girl had ruined my sand castle. Her mother swooped in with a toy shovel and a smile to clean up the mess. At the time it was both disturbing and fascinating. I will forever remember that and could not believe that she had been allowed to do that in my castle.

Wonder why she would do that in your sand castle. Wouldn't the "some more" get caught in her swimsuit and also make her entire rear end dirty?

It was Spain so we were not wearing any swim suits. I think she was just used to going wherever the urge struck especially when playing outside without clothes. I don't think she was purposefully trying to soil my castle. After she finished she started to dig and play again right next to where she had gone as if nothing had happened. When her mom came over to clean up she did not say anything to her. She just treated it like a normal day at the beach. If no adult says anything you naturally learn you can go wherever you feel the need on the beach and that's how I remember Spanish beaches in my youth.

Using tissues (if you don't dispose of them properly) I'm sure creates more pollution than the pee.  

I usually pee in my bathing suit in the ocean, although discreetly peeing in my wet swim shorts can be even more fun.

How big was the castle and how old were you and the girl. If i find a good beach i still make castles sometimes but my fav thing to is make a rock tower base stone first then and other smaller ones

The memory of the castle is foggy back but I remember it being close to half my height and the grounds, walls, moats and horizontal area were more impressive than height--easily 3m+ in diameter. So it was more like she had done her business within my castle grounds instead of moving to a location outside the walls. Its probably better not to talk ages but she may have been potty training age and I was probably a couple of years older.

Yeah understand that here in uk potty training starts about 2 1/2 - 3 but in other countys im not sure but i think its about like 3 to 5

I am currently on holiday on a cruise and have spent today with the ship docked in Lisbon.  I took a train on my own to a place called Cascais with is a 40min ride along the coast to a town with a few very nice beaches.

The first beach was a relatively small cove with two even smaller areas, one at each end and hidden from the main beach by rocks.  I spent half an hour there and I needed to pee when I got there,  I went round the rocky outcrop into the small rocky area and there was a girl in her twenties with long red hair and wearing a purple bikini.  She saw me an looked a little nervous, I guessed she was there for the same reason so I smiled at her and went past her to another rock a little bit along from her.  I sat on the rock and pulled my dick out of the leg of my shorts and peed from a sitting position onto the sand. I was about 4 or 5 metres from her.  She would have been able to hear my pee hitting the sand so that probably relaxed her enough to go as well.  I stayed sat there for a few minutes and I couldn’t see much of what she was doing, but she got up after a couple of minutes and left the rocky area.  I inspected the rocks and found that the rock she was sitting on was wet, with a stream running down the rock to the sand. I touched it and tasted it and it was definitely pee, although it was tainted with the salt from the sea which was already all over the rocks.

In the time I spent at that cove I saw several ladies walk into the water up to just below their crotch, stand there for 30s to a minute and then come back out. They usually had the waves just lapping their bikinis so it wasn’t obvious what they were doing.

There were also a few ladies who had on summer dresses over bikinis or even just underwear.  It seemed that the common way for them to pee was to walk into the water a gory way, facing away from the beach and hold the front of their dress up right out of the way then pee down their legs with the back of the dress hiding what they were doing.   The girl in the photo had light blue knickers on and I walked out into the water further than her and noticed that the bottom of it had turned darker blue.   You can see how she is holding up her dress bunches in front of her and looking like she is just casually chatting with her fella.

I then went for a walk for a couple of hours, taking in a few other beaches.  I saw other girls going into the water for a short time but not a lot else worth writing about for this forum.

I returned to the original place and again went to pee in the quiet cove.  However, this time there was a couple sat on one rock and a girl sat on another.  I wasn’t sure if I could get away with it now, but I needed to pee so proceeded with the plan. I was sat just a few metres from the girl and again she would probably have heard what I was doing.

I left the rock before she did and this time I looked back and took a photo.  There was a stream running from her down the rock (which you should be able to make out in the photo).  Her bikini and her skin was otherwise dry, so I am pretty sure she was peeing rather than just her wet bikini leaving it’s mark. I will leave you to judge for yourself  

I have blanked her face as one of the moderators asked me not to include faces if I took pictures in public.

Loving the updates @Alfresco - I’m particularly fond of women peeing at the beach, so am very appreciative of the descriptions, and especially so the accompanying pictures too.  It certainly sounds as if you’ve had quite the afternoon out pee-spotting there! 
 

Funnily enough, I did the exact same thing when in Lisbon of taking the train down to a similar area (Estoril is where I think I got off) to visit the beach, and was able to enjoy a similar sighting. I was at the far end of one of the beaches, as was a woman sunbathing by herself. She got up and walked to the waters edge, squatted down for around a minute, before getting back up and returning to her sunbathing spot. Sadly, I wasn’t close enough to get a clear sight of any stream etc, but it was VERY obvious as to what she was doing - I couldn’t quite believe how brazen she was, given that it was a relatively busy beach, and there was a rocky area right beside her of which she *could* have easily gone behind to shield herself from view, but still chose not to! 
 

It certainly looks as if the lady sat on the rocks in the last post enjoyed a nice public release - I hope she did, anyway!

After the sightings mentioned above, I returned to the ship and there was a small beach near the ship with about ten people on it.  One of the girls was wearing a very skimpy bikini and sunning herself with another girl in a a bikini.  At one point she got up, walked down the beach and squatted for about a minute then walked back to her towel. I couldn’t see any pee,  but I think it is fairly obvious what she was doing.

I was quite enjoying the view in the first place but when she went to squat I was very happy. This was the view from where I was sitting.

Goodness - those bikini bottoms certainly pass the ‘skimpy’ test with flying colours, don’t they? I can only say I very much approve! 👀

Hey, is it just me or do the women in that part of the world seem to be somewhat more brazen with their beach peeing? Perhaps they take the fact that weeing in the sea in Portugal is technically ‘illegal’ rather seriously! 😅 Although - I'm also now thinking that whoever came up with that ruling, knew exactly what they were doing.. 😏

Not really sure, I didn’t see many peeing actually on the beach - just the ones I have mentioned.  There were definitely some going in the sea.

Maybe you are right - if it illegal to pee in the sea, what’s a girl supposed to do?   Pee on the beach is the obvious answer so maybe the person who made that law wanted to encourage more public peeing.   Although quite how you would be able to prove someone peed in the sea, I don’t know

Yes.  We were at Lanzarote yesterday, Gran Canaria today, still got Funchal and A Coruna (Spain) to go.

Yesterday I didn’t see anything overly exciting other than people going into the water.  My daughter was with me so I didn’t get any opportunity to scout.  However, when we arrived at the beach (a small beach about 30min walk from the cruise dock) I spotted a couple going down the ramp to the only toilets. I said to my daughter that we should see if they were open in case we needed them later.  I was pleased to note that the couple tried the door and found it locked.  They came back up the ramp.  They were not dressed in beach wear and went off into the town, so probably hoping to find other toilets, but it did mean that any beach goers that did need to pee were not going to be using the toilets.

I did see a few people stand in the beach showers for a short time and then return to their towels.  Not sure if they were peeing or cooling off, but I would guess it was likely that some peed.

I also saw a lady sat in the very edge of the water for a short time as well as some going out waist deep.
