I tend to use my male advantage for myself.  Standing for a urinal, but often sitting on a toilet.  Not fond of the mess that occurs otherwise.  Splash is not nice.

As others have said, I also stand because I'm given the gift to do so as a man. I will occasionally sit (sitting completely empties your bladder, as standing doesn't from what I've heard), but pretty rarely. I also like to hold my dick because I like to aim it around or spray it in an arch when I'm pissing outside. As for watching women, a squat is great, but really anything because it's such a treat to see that.

For watching a female pee I love to see where her stream is coming from. Squatting is good, standing is much better.  I can get much closer to the source, and she has a longer stream. Even better if she spreads he lips so I can actually see her pee hole. Bonus points if she can arch her  long stream. Then there is this amazing view, tha I stole from Pseudodegen. For myself I always pee standing up, it's just natural I especially enjoy peeing from a high spot causing a big long arch. My best  high pee was off an abandoned railroad trestle into a stream below. I was at least 20 feet up.

I also like peeing naturally, without holding my penis, especially while walking . I do it alone in the woods, because I need to remove my pants . Otherwise I just pee all over them.
