Yes - same here. Some years ago I decided I didn't really care about being seen through the windows of my own house if I'm naked, though I don't go out of my way to be seen. Rather happily, it appears the lady in the house opposite me sometimes has the same approach!

My non-English language skills are woeful. As in the US, having English as a mother tongue does mean it's easy to be lazy. I remember some French from school and have picked up a little German (being married to a fluent speaker of that language). That's it. I couldn't readily converse in German though.

!!! Get by in the Vatican?! (Only teasing - Latin is useful for the basic vocabulary of many European languages I guess.)

Interesting question. My wife and kids first. Kids have left home now but I'd still do anything to help them if they needed me. And K is and always will be the greatest love of my life. After that, I guess the rest of my family. I've been incredibly lucky (given you can't choose them) that we all get along. Friends both online and not (lines get blurred ... I have long-term friends I've had since before the interweb was invented who I now only communicate with online, and friends I've made online that I have met face to face). I value my relatively good health more and more as I get older. Lau
