  1. I used to favor the death penalty, but now I'm opposed to it. It's not really punishment and they live forever on death row before they're executed. It's also far more expensive to house an inmate on death row than in the general population of the prison. Remaining behind bars for life is far worse than death. Prison is a horrible place to live. Plus, there is always an outside chance that an innocent man is executed. It has happened and DNA has led to some innocent prisoners being released. For these reasons, I'm against it.
  2. Sorry, Speedy. Your numbers are way off. According to Wikipedia the numbers are: Saskatchewan - 251,700 sq. miles (including land & water, i.e., total) Alaska - 663,268 sq. miles
  3. @speedy3471 You are correct! But, you're talking about a province of a nation with far fewer provinces than we have states. Canada is only a little bit larger than the USA. They're almost the same size. How does your province compare to, let's say...Alaska? LOL! See? And that's only one state. I guess my point was really that Europe is quite small when you look at the size of individual countries. Very small. At the other extreme, Russia is almost as big as Canada and the USA put together! Wow! But, size doesn't matter. Switzerland is tiny and it's beautiful.
  4. Also, they've done many studies that show there is a strong correlation between low I.Q. and preference for large breasts. Accordingly, men with higher I.Q.'s tend to prefer smaller breasts. Seriously. In addition, men with high I.Q.'s tend to be more interested in women's butts and legs as opposed to their breasts.
  5. I can only vouch for Niagara Falls and the Great Lakes. I live in the Great Lakes state, Michigan. They're unreal! If you go to Lake Michigan, you'll swear it's an ocean. There's water as far as the eye can see and the waves hitting the shore will knock you down Also, there's seaweed, shells, and driftwood all over the beach. And that's not even the biggest. Lake Superior is the biggest. The Great Lakes are the greatest source of fresh water on earth! We also have 10,000 inland lakes. So, lots of water! LOL! Michigan is larger than England, with Michigan at 58,000 square miles and
  6. @steve25805 I went through a period of reading many books about serial killers. I was married then and my wife wondered why I wanted to read such dark material. With me, I liked learning about the cases from the perspective of the detectives who worked on the cases. I still find that topic fascinating. I've seen every episode of The Forensic Files on TV. Once, my son was in Milwaukee for job training for a week. When he got in the taxi to go to the airport to fly home, he told the driver to take him to where Jeffrey Dahmer lived first. He was the one who killed gay male lovers
  7. To be honest, I don't like the taste of any alcoholic beverage. I suspect no one really does. But, I drink Miller Lite beer. All the other beers are too strong tasting. I can tolerate Lite the easiest, but I drink less often the older I get.
  8. I couldn't agree more. There is no scientific evidence of consciousness after death and until such time that there is, I will continue to believe that death is the end.
  9. More nice gams! 🙂
  10. My favorite poem is as follows. "There once was a man from Nantucket...." Sorry, I couldn't resist. LOL! 🤣
  11. @WantonLee I wouldn't worry about it at all. The video even states that it's an impossible feat. Also, Pee Fans would be exempt as it it only applies to sites that have over 5 million visitors per month. Pee Fans gets far less than that. I suggest you listen more carefully to the video. I don't think it will affect anything. It's really a joke. Just my spin on it.
  12. Some of you might like the numerous real confessions of pee lovers at the link below. I came across it by accident and it's quite good. Pee Confessions
  13. A person can usually live 3 days without water. In Death Valley, you'll only live 14 hours without water. Seriously.
  14. @steve25805 That sounds quite awful. Not very encouraging at all. Think of all the undeveloped nations that are not working on climate change at all. That's very scary too. Oh, the highest official temp ever recorded in the world was in Death Valley, California. It was 134F on a day in 1913. It's also the hottest place on earth in terms of average high temps. Temps of over 120F are very common for days, even weeks, at a time. Yikes! 🤪
  15. It cost $4 million to build in 1915. I have no clue what it would be worth in today's dollars. Mrs. Ford willed it to the University of Michigan when she died. So, they own it. Otherwise, we'd never get to enjoy it. She did the right thing!
  16. We have a saying here in Dearborn: Ford stands for Fucked-up Old Rebuilt Dodge LMAO! 🤣
  17. @UnabashedUser & @likesToLick I never said I liked Ford cars. LOL! No, I don't. I'm a GM car guy all the way. Give me a Corvette over any Mustang. That's a no brainer. And, I was aware of Ford's dislike of Jews too. I just like his house! LOL!
  18. This is a song from my favorite band, Procol Harum. Although the song is from 1974, the lyrics are timeless and do apply to the world today. "Psychiatrists and Lawyers destroying mankind Drivin' 'em crazy and stealing 'em blind Bankers and Brokers ruling the world Storing the silver and hoarding the gold Ain't no use in preachers preaching When they don't know what they're teaching The weakest man be strong as Samson When you're being held to ransom Famine and hardship in true living colour Constant reminders...the plight of our brother Daily starvation our di
  19. I really think it's too late already, Steve. One scientist I saw on TV the other night said that even if we stopped all carbon emissions right now, we'd still see a catastrophic rise in world temps. I found that very alarming. I welcome your comments as you're the science guy here. Thanks.
  20. Translation: He'll take what he can get! LMAO! 🤣
  21. The link below is to the very first site on the web in 1991. It was made by Tim Berners-Lee. He's an Englishman and invented the world wide web. I just thought some folks here would like to see this. It's always been online, never went offline. And, it still works fine via simple HTML. I love it! 🙂 First Website Ever!
  22. Now...this girl has great legs! If you notice, her legs look great in every position and from every angle! These are Hall of Fame legs, for sure! 😋
  23. I think a Biden-Sanders ticket would win in a landslide. But, I don't see that happening. Hillary was advised to pick Bernie as a running mate, but didn't. He's so far left that I think Biden would beat him, sadly.
  24. Bernie is running, for sure. However, it's almost a sure thing that former vice president Joe Biden will run too. I love Bernie, but I think Biden will be the Democratic candidate if he runs. In a very early poll the other day, Biden had 28% to Bernie's 26%. But, it's way too early to mean anything. The race will be a circus. There are almost 20 people who are running. It's ridiculous. I think a large field will waste so much time and hurt the chance of the Dems. Everyone wants the job. Why? I have no idea. It's so nuts! To use a Trump line, "We'll see what happens." LOL
  25. I think the reason for the differences in the reaction of the media is the following: 1. Many more were killed in New Zealand. (50) 2. It was a new thing for New Zealand as it's thought of as a very serene place. 3. It was in a house of worship, where one should feel the safest. In light of the above factors, I can see why there was a difference in the media. It makes sense to me, completely. But, I agree. It's awful and yes, we should feel empathy for Holland. I do, however, think your reaction is a bit over-the-top. Makes you vomit? C'mon.
