This seems crazy! Parents are the ones who are supposed to prevent kids from viewing porno. But, they all buy their kids smart phones or tablets before age 5! For real. I know many people who have done that. I'd like to know just how many parents even use software like Net Nanny and the like. I really don't think such a law would ever fly here in the USA. The ACLU would have a field day with a law like that. Hell, in my state of Michigan, we can carry a gun right out in the open, so long as it is registered and purchased legally. Don't you all in the UK pay a TV tax every year

@F.W Scientists now believe that all birds are descendants of the dinosaurs. They also believe that crocodiles and sharks lived during the time of the dinosaurs and have remained relatively unchanged since then. Here's another thing that annoys the hell out of me. Comedians who are fat or handicapped and their entire routine consists of jokes where they poke fun at themselves. I freaking hate that! Here's a little trivia for you. Doctors now say that chicken soup is good for colds and flu. They seem to think that it has anti-inflammatory properties. I asked my doc when I saw him 2 weeks ago and he said it's true. Cool, eh?

I love soup. Any others here love soup too? I can't pick just one, but I like: Minestrone, Chicken Noodle, New England Style Clam Chowder, and Vegetable. I even like to drink chicken and beef broth made from bouillon cubes. Another one I love is Tomato and I put spicy herb croutons in it. Yummy! 😋

@WantonLee Very good point! You're absolutely right. Science cannot explain everything, not even close. In fact, you could even say that they've merely scratched the surface in most areas. But, I'd rather put my faith in science than in superstition anytime.

I don't believe we'll be extinct in 1,000 years unless an asteroid hits the earth or some other catastrophic event occurs. Humans are very adaptive and, despite all the warnings about our climate, etc., I think we'll find a way to survive longer than 1,000 years.
