Squat or Stand

Question for the ladies. When you pee outdoors do you prefer to squat or stand?

I squat, mostly because it lets me hide a bit more, but also because it keeps things as mess-free as possible.

100% stand. If the options are pee squatting or hold for perhaps 30 minutes more to then get to stand, I will wait. Squatting is the worst and I will avoid it at all cost.

1. It's uncomfortable 2. I don't get to see the stream and where it lands 3. More risk of splashback on shoes and ancles if the surface is hard.

Having a taget, yes, for sure. Haven't been alone near a fire that needed to be put out, so haven't done that. Would not do that a poor bug. No way. It has happened by accident from not seeing one at first, but I aim away from it at the moment I notice in that case.

I’ve found standing is typical more discreet, so no squatting when I need to be covert!

Stand, because:

1. Is just more fun for me.

2. Makes a louder splash against the surface I am peeing on.

3. Can be done discreetly when out and about. During summer, I will leave my panties off on purpose, wear a dress, and enjoy the opportunity to spread my legs slightly and pee on the ground or some stairs or similar.

Squatting for me. I’ll try to do it from an elevated position (e.g. from the top of the stairs or from the seat of a picnic table) to reduce splash back

I think if I’ve just started feeling the need, then yes, squatting allows me to quickly pee and finish and be on my way. But once I’m feeling more urgent, then squatting or standing are comparable and both are a strong and steady stream. 

Come to think of it, this might be partly why I find standing to be more discreet. Not just the unassuming stance but it can be quieter and slower when needed.

Standing is a discreet way to pee and let out a steady stream I would imagine
