Pee Stories That Make The News

Kind of an opposite story from years ago, where a CCTV video of a woman urinating in a mall hallway (the mall has at least 6 washrooms) leaked. There was outrage about the alleged voyeurism, rather than the usual outrage for public urination. I never saw the video.

This is such an egregious example of double standards. Had a male been caught peeing in the hallway of a mall he would have been condemned (and possibly branded a sex offender). But because the video was posted to Pornhub it's classified as a form of revenge porn? And the security guard who posted it is classified as a voyeur? How is it voyeurism if it's literally your job to watch for suspicious activity? The woman was peeing in a hallway. There's no reason she should have any expectation of privacy. I've literally peed in mall hallways on two separate occasions, when I was in my teens. In both incidents the malls had locked the bathrooms before closing time (it was in two separate malls). But I never had the expectation of privacy. And even though I didn't see any cameras, I still assumed I was probably being watched. Does this mean that all those YouTube channels that post security footage of illegal activity around their homes, are also voyeurs because they sometimes include videos of public urination?

Allow me to play Devil’s(?) Advocate here:

1: This was not a personal video recording. He did not own the device that made the recording, or the property where the device is set up.
2: The Company. He most definitely broke rules by sharing the footage with anyone beyond his superiors.

3: It was uploaded to PornHub. I feel like this is self-explanatory.
3.5: I lied, I’m going to explain it anyway. I’m reminded of a recent case where several female twitch streamers had their faces used in AI deepfake porn without their consent. No, it was not themselves filmed having sex, but they were inserted into pornographic content, threatening their lives, livelihoods, and reputations.  I’m all for people expressing themselves, but when you express another person without their consent, they have every right to tell you off and collect whatever legal reparations they can.

Not really a news story, more a feature, pointed out to me by K. But it's in a serious newspaper.

A lady who is so mortified that she pees when she orgasms (because of a disability) that she has given up sex. While my heart goes out to the lady - many  people would find it a difficult thing to embrace - it's a pity Pamela Stephenson Connolly (yes, it's her) doesn't point the lady in our direction as a supportive community who could help her talk about the subject.

Easier to put four elephants in a mini than to put sex-positivity in the Guardian

Two in the front and two in the back sounds positively ambitious to me 😉

I swear I saw people mentioning this story and how they could find the video anymore, but I can't find those comments.

https://www.sfexaminer.com/news/san-francisco-chronicle-deliverywoman-accused-of-repeatedly-urinating-in-building-elevator/article_568039eb-d842-549c-8dea-c451c8e3ab5b.html

I found the video: https://i.imgur.com/CI0lh4u.mp4

It's not the highest quality, you can't see her crotch or stream, and it's not even a long pee or a big puddle. But it's a real pee from a real woman, and this was her 3AM toilet for 3 months. Unlike a lot of the other stories, in this one people were empathetic, and based on the story she kept the job and even the same paper route. I wonder where she would relieve herself after she couldn't here anymore.

I hope the paper didn't fire her. They said they were doing an investigation.

The people in the building should have left her something to pee in? Like a bucket or a litterbox or something.

Here's a story from the COVID era. https://www.blogto.com/city/2021/06/trinity-bellwoods-park-has-serious-public-urination-problem/

Originally it had a very daring picture of a woman.

20210611-trinity-bellwoods-pee_photos_v2

Due to outrage, after 3 days they replaced the picture with one of a row of portapotties. The original picture (without a pixelated but still blurry face) is still live on the park's Twitter feed.

Still, when you're peeing on the floor in a public building, you shouldn't have any expectation of privacy. If I whipped out my dick in public and the photos wound up on some gay porn site, I wouldn't get mad. She brought everything on herself.

If it was a man filmed and uploaded, he wouldn't have gotten the same sympathy.

1: “No expectation of privacy” does not equal “consent to share your image.”

2: You are right that if the victim were a man, he wouldn’t be seen as a victim, and that’s unfair. My question to you, is if that’s an unfairness you are willing to live with, or one that you want changed.

That gave a huge feeling of deja vu - I checked the date a couple of times, plus definitely a different lady than the previous news report - which was a Polish flight maybe(?)

Edit - Yes...  In fact the very first post in this thread although the link doesn't work any more.  A lady whizzing on a 'Whizz Air' flight which was destined for Poland and now a spirited lady peeing in nearly the same circumstances too.

I think this counts

The perks of fame and fortune!  So presumably she wants to avoid sitting her bum where someone else has sat, but has the downside of meaning nobody else can claim to have sat on the toilet seat after Beyoncé. Well, I wonder if the roadies who have to install and remove the seats do so - I bet she doesn’t install it herself.    Alternatively, maybe she leaves the seat after she moves on - the report did say a large crate of toilet seats….

I didn't know whether to put this one on YouTube Finds or include it here as it meets both criteria.  It is a news story on the TV which has been posted to YouTube about people peeing in public and the local business owners now being too happy.  There is quite a bit of coverage of the actual peeing although it is blurred.

I've put the link and screenshots on the Youtube Finds page:
