How do you pee at the beach?

What method(s) have you used to pee at the beach? Feel free to comment with which is your favorite, and any tips you have.

Most all the beaches I'm at have very few people. (I'm pretty sure I practiced social distancing before any of us knew the term.) When I need to pee, I'll take a short walk into the dunes.

I've very seldom encountered anyone there. Those that did were there for the same reason.

I'm not a wetting fan by any means, but the beach is the one place I have voluntarily pissed myself. Lying face-down into the sand. Just seemed like an easier option than going anywhere else.

I was figuring "Peeing down leg of shorts" is basically wetting, but I did miss adding the option of laying face down.

I mostly go to nude beaches so if I'm laying out where there are a lot of people I'll walk a little ways and pee in the sand but if I'm in a secluded spot I'll just stand up and make a puddle right a few feet away.

Same. I'm not really a sun worshipper. Indeed, I like to keep my skin as pale and protected from UV as possible - I'm very paranoid about skin cancer!

I think standing and going openly against the wall/rock would be frowned upon, especially if there were youngsters making sand castles.

I am a surfer so instead of using the bathroom I will sometimes just pee slowly into my wetsuit when walking down the beach. If I pee too quickly,  it starts leaking out the sides and becomes noticeable but if I go slowly enough it's very discreet. I flood my wetsuit with sea water when I enter the ocean to flush the pee out.

I have ticked several boxes.   How I pee would very much depend on the circumstances, who I am with, how many people are around, what the beach is like etc.

If I were already in the sea and needed to pee then I would just pee.  No hesitation, no adjusting clothing.  Just pee.

If sitting on sand or stones, my normal would be to scoop a small hollow and either sit or kneel and pull my dick out of the leg of my shorts to pee in the hollow, then cover it over.

If I was walking around, then I would normally find somewhere slightly hidden - e.g. behind a row of beach huts or in the dunes.   

The only one that I would avoid completely would be the toilets.  I can't see any need to find the toilets at a beach.

Not to sound like a monster, but you should have definitely peed on their sandcastles. Not while their building them of course, but I've been to the beach and pissed on a few abandoned castles on a quiet day. There is something really satisfying about ruining the structural integrity of a sand castle or filling the moat around it.
