What Song Are You Currently Listening To?

There's going to be a couple of people on the site getting weary of me fan-boying drummer Clem Burke.  For that matter a couple of people who know my reasoning.

Anyway - if you can take your eyes of Debbie Harry, check out the drumming mastership going on here.  And just for fun below the inside story to that intro fill - never meant to be, just a bit of first take fun!

Thanks to TikTok I discovered Peyton Parrish for the first time:

Disney Rock! I immediately went onto Amazon music and downloaded so many of his songs.

Dude looks and sounds literally like a Viking. I LOVE him.

RIP Burt Bacharach. What to choose to remind myself how utterly brilliant your music is? This I think (but it could have been any one of many dozens) ... and what a fabulous cover version this is!

Here's an oldie, but seems to fit to bridge the miles between Maryland and a couple of destinations in Europe...    😉

Jee, I wonder who in Maryland would be trying to make it to Europe 🤨🤔 and yes, @Chrissy89 . It can be our song. And Goose too 🤣

I was reminded via social media that this week in 1978 Kate Bush's 'Wuthering Heights' debuted in the UK chart. And that reminded me of the wonderful Pamela Stephenson skit a little while later. Worth a look and listen I thought.

Wet leg are so much fun - it’s about time someone came in and upset mainstream music

For some reason this track reminded me of the classic 'Fish Heads' - I don't know why really

Clapton's guitar tone is fantastic on this song. Been going round my head for days.

Oh now look what you've done! I've gone all British rhythm and blues now, and that's led me here ...
