Like many of the guys here I’m straight but have no issue at all with seeing naked male bodies. Wow I didn’t realise how hard (sorry) that would be to answer. I can only speak for me and this may or may not be helpful. i can feel it pulsing as it’s getting harder. Especially so if I’m just sitting or laying still, it’s not as noticeable when I’m moving. It’s also really warm to the touch.
