Just wondering....I try my best to be kind and polite to everyone I talk to...esp the females here. We try our best to tell members to treat the female members here with respect so they will enjoy coming here and not feel offended. And now I'm seeing banner ads like this...referring to females as "Sluts" I know the ads help the site but are any of the ladies here offended by these ads ?

The ads are pretty ridiculous to be honest, I would hope nobody takes them particularly seriously. I can assure you they're not chosen by me, just what the ad network decides to display; apparently the more outrageous they are, the better.

Good question, though. If anyone does take offence to them, please do let me know. I'd genuinely be a lot more concerned about losing a member of the site than losing the small amount of extra revenue the ads bring in. They're temporary anyway, and hopefully will be gone by the end of July as it's simply to raise money for some new features. The site currently supports itself through premium membership, but I don't really have the money to invest out of my own pocket at the moment.

As a male, I refrain from using the word "slut" in forums just because it may be offensive to some. Personally, I love women who are positive about sex and willing to get what they want in defiance of stuffy conventions.

"Slut" sounds like a "dirty" word! In my opinion words like fuck, piss, shit are less offensive to the ear. If you use those words around me, I won't even raise an eyebrow. But the word slut gets my attention for some reason. I'm not offended by it, I just don't like it! If you want to stay on my good side, don't ever refer to me as a slut.:mad:

It doesn't bother me. In fact (sorry admin), I really pay the ads no attention at all. We're all so used to seeing ads on sites nowadays that it's easy to ignore them. As far as being called a slut, well, I can't say it's a term that bothers me, personally. My perspective is a little different, though, being in the open lifestyle. :)

I would never use this word, not even think it if I saw someone on the street. Mary has some interesting clothes she sometimes wears about the house, you know, high heels, seamed stockings, garter belt and corset ....... it's sexy, not that other derogatory word.

As a guy, I dislike the word "slut" immensely and would never use it unless I was feeling very spiteful. No self-respecting woman deserves to be called a slut, even if they say they consent to it for sexual purposes.

It annoys me when I see certain porn directors mistreating their models for their own sexual pleasure. These women are what keep these assholes in a job and they're treated like meat. I won't cite examples but there is at least one porn site within our fetish group which falls into the category I mentioned. It actually really upsets me and I think more women would be open to trying watersports if porn like this didn't go to such a misogynistic extreme.

It bothers me a lot as a woman, I honestly find it so disrespectful and I think all kinds of sexual relationships etc. work best with mutual respect (obviously then you can be submissive/dominant in bed, that's different) but words like slut, whore, etc. have such a historically negative connotation I really hate when they're used by anyone, especially men. Just my two cents!

I more worry that sometimes we guys,or even myself,can perhaps go into sexual overdrive.For example,one of our lovely ladies might say something like"i had a nice walk in the park today with a friend".To which almost for sure someone will reply,"oh did you watch each other pee?"...Or maybe we do objectify them,particularly the female genital area.Im sure women accept this as being on a basically sexual site,i just hope they dont find it too O.T.T...

This is complicated. Sexual overdrive just reveals what a man hides inside of himself. There is no problem with men screaming sexual obscenities to a woman, I indeed love it when I am in bed with my man, I just think that such a degree of "energy" should intermix with how much in touch you are to a person. Let me explain this better: Being rude to a girl gives you power over her, because when rudeness comes from sexual overdrive, the rudeness in itself brings along the overdrive's very power.

Thus, being rude with a girl is exactly just like fucking her. As a woman needs to be free to decide who, where, when and how should fuck her, exactly the same goes for being rude.

I have been called in many of the most abusive ways while having sex, but is not that easy to push my man to treat me that way, he is different, his darkness comes more from his psychologically and physically violent side, channeled into speechless rough sex which gives me terrifying orgasms when he grab my neck from behind and mounts me like a fucking slut.
