Kupar 13,341
New to me. Swedish indie. Rather good. Sorry, no sexy female singers / instrumentalists. Link to post
Kupar 13,341
One minute's worth of music in a three and a half minute song, but what the hell. 1 1 Link to post

Kupar 13,341
This ticks a lot of boxes for me. An absolutely beautiful Nick Drake song, covered by the divine Chrissie Hynde, who has, in my humble opinion, one of the greatest voices in rock, and sensitively accompanied by a fine jazz orchestra. It doesn't get much better, really. 1 2 Link to post

gldenwetgoose 21,498
I was more mesmerised watching Kari ( @Sophie's avatar) desperately stamping her feet in time with the march! 1 1 Link to post

I have played in concerts where we had the full audience clapping along, without the conductor instructing them to. Also been in groups where people sang along to our music as well. Can't say I have played that specific piece though. 1 Link to post

The first four minutes sound like Thomas Traherne poems set to music by Genesis; the next five minutes is just simply wonderful, creative complex jazz-inspired rock instrumental - almost Jethro Tull, but with more complex polyrhythms. And the lead vocalist sounds like a Norwegian Al Stewart ... and that's no bad thing. All in all, it's sublime. Thank you! 1 Link to post
