I think it's a case of 'low hanging fruit' if you know what I mean. It's often a good deal easier to target things which some people find uncongenial but are essentially harmless than tackle the supply of material which does serious harm to minds, bodies and society.

I regularly pee in the shower and I occasionally water a large bush in the garden. Also if I'm busy working online at home in the evenings or at weekends I occasionally pee in a vase, jar or, sometimes measuring jug, as my loo's upstairs and I tend to do whatever I'm doing downstairs. I then rinse it down the kitchen sink. If I'm using a measuring jug its alwats interesting to see how much I've done. Usually it's somewhere between 400 and 600nl.

My experiences of being hospital and needing to pee aren't particularly pleasant ones. I was born with mild Hypospadias and the family GP who was a good doctor, but rather old school, thought I'd benefit from surgery to try and correct it. For a long time I was in the undecided camp, being three quarters out and one quarter in. However having listened carefully to all the arguments I've finally come down on the side of Brexit.
