There is an actual town in Austria called "Fucking".

By all accounts this town suffers the problem of having signs like the one above being stolen by amused tourists from English-speaking countries. The problem became so bad that representatives of the town approached the German town of "Wank" for advice on how to handle the problem. :laugh:

The thought of such towns having signs that greet visitors with such things as "Welcome to Wank" is highly amusing. :laugh:

Especially as it is almost a double entendre - it could be read as an invitation to...er...wank! Hahahaha

I'm assuming residents of the first listed towns add the usual suffix to denote origin. So we know where all the Fuckers come from and that other lot are a bunch of Wankers. For what it's worth, I had a co-worker from Austria with the name Wanka ... thank god she pronounced it as a V!

Not rude, but Texas has Woman Hollering Creek and there are a disturbing number of places with the N word in their name in America.
