Pee in the compost bin most days 🙂 also volunteered at a national trust property years ago, and we were all encouraged to pee on hay bales! I’ve done it at home ever since.

So inspired by a post somewhere else (that I can't now find) here's a pic of me peeing on a tree branch. Not against an upright tree, but sitting on a big dead branch. I saw the tree on a walk the other day and it was too good an opportunity to miss.

Just curious to know the height of your bin? My imagination is struggling a bit!! Or perhaps your compost is not in a bin......?

I must say have never thought of the beneficial effect of pee on compost, my compost bin is just round the corner from my workshop so not nearly so far to take the contents of my workshop container in future!  Thanks for the idea....

I went for a longish (11 mile) walk today - the weather is ridiculously mild here at the moment and it seemed daft to stay indoors. I took my lunch with me - including a can of beer - and a flask of tea. I needed a pee of course. But conveniently there was a handy tree, so I used it. Video, low-res gif and the marked tree.

So I was at home today and it was sunny. I had been drinking coffee and water during the morning and by the time 11:30am came around I was in need of a pee. I was in the mood to try somewhere different - and knowing that some like the sound of pee splashing noisily, I thought the wheelbarrow might work. It's actually not as noisy as I thought it would be, but hey - it's a 20s pee into a wheelbarrow.

I had some errands to run this morning: take some waste to the local tip and do some shopping at the Co-op. The plan was to capture a video of a pee in the middle of a country lane on the way home between the tip and the shop, because I had failed to capture pics or video when I’d done that on a walk the other day.

All was going well – I hadn’t peed since getting up and had had my usual glass of juice and Americano coffee at breakfast, and knew that by 10:30 ish I would be ready to go.

In the car on the way back from the tip I was starting to creep up from about 7 to 8 or so. Then I hit traffic (slow-moving tractors/trailers are common here at this time of year … and it was dustbin collection day in the village). I drove to the lane I wanted to use and I could tell I was close … I’d already leaked a little bit in the car.

But (and this is the thing about taking your own photos / videos – especially if you want them to be more than just a phone-in-the-hand point-of-view thing) it takes time to set up a tripod and get the phone on it, and compose the shot, and by that time, I was pretty much at the point of no return.

So in the video, the desperation and wetting is real. Being of advancing years, of course, the flow rate and volume are nothing to write home about, but the sound is satisfying – and yes, that is me saying ‘epic fail’ towards the end.

Of course, I still had my Co-op shopping to do - if anyone noticed the damp patches on my trousers, they didn't say anything. It was quite nice to have wet legs for 20 minutes or so until everything dried.

Thanks - and I just couldn't help it ... as soon as the car door opened I was starting to leak - 15 seconds to put the tripod on the ground, hit the record button and get in front of the camera ... so probably 45 seconds of peeing, gently ... felt somewhat damp afterwards 🙂

Yes - the cold didn't / did help (depending on one's perspective)! Incidentally, I'd probably not describe them as 'panties', but rather 'skimpy, cheeky bulge mini shorts', but whatever 😉

Thanks for that.  I dudn't want to offend by use of the term 'panties' but they had that sort of look about them, although there are types of underwear which are effectively unisex these days.  Personally I wear a wide range of underwear and that dies include actual panties which invariably are much more comfy than briefs.  Even the briefs I have are for the most part, by choice, flyless.  I cant be the only man in the world to find flys pointless and inconvenient as they're invariably too small or badly positioned.
