11.52k in 1 hour 13 minutes 19 seconds. It's already 21 degrees at 9am and the sun was relentless. Since April my only other run was a 5k on Monday so content with that. 21 Days until my official 10k run which is at 4pm in the afternoon. If the hot weather keeps up everyone will be drinking so much water that it could turn into a massive peefest.

Boom. I am back. 5k in 27 minutes 12 seconds this evening. It was very hot and I have never been so breathless or sweaty after a run. Christened my new running shoes.

118 Days since my last run. 26 Days until I do a 10k run. I might have to start running in very hot weather or will never get any training in.

Found a song that might be good for peeing in sync to the music and walking home from the railway station left a long trail outside and walked past my 5 neighbours front doors looking like this.

Journey of the Sorceror by The Eagles. Keep holding until 1 minute 13.5 seconds when the music floods and so will you. Only just realised this walking from Cambridge Railway Station to work so might be a bit risky to try now plus am a bit dehydrated from last night's beer still.

I broke my new running trainers in on Wednesday evening with a 1.33km run to my local Micropub. Clocked up 1.66km on the way home including shopping. Gentle steps and all that.

Signed up for my next 10k today. Not until early September so hopefully will be rid of my current ailments and back to running by then. With a slower runner so should be not too strenuous.

At least you can get a cracking beer at the end if it is the run I think you are at? Good luck with it. Since finishing 100k spread over 28 days on 11th April I have not run. Finally feeling upto it so might get out over the weekend.
