I also like to be really messy on purpose in public bathrooms. I know it isn't good to do for the other people who need to use the bathroom, but I also hope it encourages them to be a little messy and hopefully enjoy it. It is fun to stand back a bit from a urinal or toilet and spray it around a bit. A week ago I did a pee at a park bathroom where I stood about a meter away from the toilet and made it spray out far, I ended up peeing mostly over and a bit around the toilet, basically none of it getting in to it. It is just so fun and easy to do in the moment, even if it is a little bad. There was someone else in the bathroom when I did but he didn't say anything.

I never experienced openly peeing on the pool deck or in the gym— it was contained to the locker room or showers. If I did have to take a leak on the pool deck and I was wet, I would usually sit down and piss in my speedo on the floor. If I was dry, I’d either wait until I got in the pool next or walked into the locker room. The usual locker room that we used had a shower section as you left the pool area. We commonly took our cocks out there to piss— it was easier to let it out on the tile floor and then hit the automatic shower. Even if I was showering or someone else was showering, it was well accepted that someone could come in for a piss and then turn on the water and leave. You’d usually just do it a few shower heads over to be courteous. 

…which makes me wonder….did you ever try to squirt and then pee into your own open mouth, and drink your own piss? I sometimes manage to eat/drink my own sperm and lots of hot piss directly into my own mouth and throat this way….
