I remember taking a trip some years back and I stayed at a hotel basically across the street from the airport. The hotel had a pool, hot tub and full gym. The change room/locker room was located downstairs (just a few steps down from the main pool area and through 2 doors). I went down into the locker room and realized it was empty. So I don't know why it is, but I'm seeing that women are much more open minded about peeing in those kinda places than many guys. It's not so much that I've seen many women do so, but like you I've heard women tell guys to do so and even tell me to. Seems to me it's more older women or moms that are so laid back about it. I always assumed it would be the opposite. You're right. An alley is a great place to piss. There's an alley not far from my place that's called "Piss Alley" by a lot of locals because it connects a busy commercial street with a lot of bars on it with another major street. It's on my way home when I go out to drink. In the summer the odour is quite noticeable which doesn't bother me but does draw negative comments from a lot of other people in the area. A few years ago some of the local property owners apparently complained about the situation and the police started patrolling it. One cold night on my way home I couldn't hold it any longer and pulled out my member and started relieving myself. When I was close to finishing I felt a hand on my shoulder and realized a cop was standing behind me. I got a public urination fine. It kind of dissuaded me from going in that location again although when I walk through the alley I still see lots of streams so it hasn't lost its attraction for a lot of guys.

I think it's so cool when a guy has enough capacity that when he whips it out, it's not necessarily about needing to pee but more that he just wanted to hose something down. 

 

And also the converse, when a guy sees something he wants to pee on, he's not gonna wait until he needs to go, he's gonna unzip and he just has enough in reserve that he can soak whatever he wants.
