A question possibly for us older folk..

Do you think the Internet changed your sexlife? 

 

Personally it did open my eyes to what people get up to and all the different kinks etc there are out there but it didn't change my actual sex life. It just changed my fantasies, which sadly I don't get to carry out.

Absolutely.   I've been able to meet others for casual sex hook ups and get to follow sites like this.

I would have guessed that yes, but thinking about it, I can't identify anything... It has become easier and less embarrassing to access porn, given a vast choice, but in real life nothing has changed.

Exactly my experience.

Hasn't altered my sex life, which (sadly) is pretty vanilla. It did give me ideas of how to broach kink subjects which might have changed things, but my partner isn't interested.

The internet offered me access to view all manner of different kinks, and realising those I have are mainstream, plus ideas on how to indulge in them on my own.

It's made me feel more accepted. Three major things surround my sex life: my piss fetish, assxuality, and the hammering of purity culture into my head from my strict religious upbringing. These three things are the foundational blocks of my sexuality and they each have a bit of influence on one another.

Each one has made me feel like an "other" in some capacity and often left me feeling confused. Like why the other kids in my high-school were all about sex and having as much of it as they could when I cared very little about it and was even scared of it for the longest time since "God wants women to save themselves for their husbands."

Once I discovered the internet I learned through Peefans that people with pee fetishes are normal people just like I am, and a lot of them hide their fetishes for the same reason I do. I also discovered that there are people healing from religious trauma just like I am and it changed their sexualities severely. And, of course, people who are not so much into sex like I am have a whole label lol. Getting to mingle with all these people, hear their stories, and make meaningful connections with them made me realize that im not broken. I'm normal.

Sexuality isn't black and white and it's okay to not like traditional sex. Without the internet I'm sure I'd still be depressed af thinking my body or my mind were broken beyond repair.
