Interesting distinction, while I've seen lots of guys peeing around locker rooms, they were always for swimming pools or waterparks, as I'm a swimmer. I really don't know if this happens in other sports locker rooms. I wonder if the fact that the floors are often wet from pool water or swimsuits makes it seem less noticeable or less objectionable.

Yeah not uncommon for there to be large puddles of piss if there was an area where there was not a drain. As I got later into my teenage years, my pisses got larger and I'd usually be hydrated well prior to a meet. If myself and another guy used an area for a leak, there could be a large puddle, but it's not really an issue in the guys locker room. I think you're right, if no one's around to see you in pool locker rooms, no one really even knows you did it as the floors are mostly wet. I think a lot of people think they can get away with it when no one's near and in time get really comfortable doing so even if someone notices. I don't have a dad around, but I don't notice dads being so encouraging, but women really seem to encourage it a lot. I was on swim teams since a child and nearly all the guys just pissed wherever while they were changing. There was rarely any coaches around, but even so I always assumed they'd surely get into trouble if they were to get caught, but never did.
