In light of recent posts regarding pornography pre-internet, I would like to conduct some research with members using a very simple questionnaire that can be answered quite easily on this forum. Initially I'm canvasing for support and participants, male and female, but I guess it will be predominantly male on their relationship with porn, soft and hard, when it was only available in print, film and VHS/DVD. Once I see how many are interested in taking part in my survey, I will devise a questionnaire for you to answer. I hope that you will participate, and rest assured that your contributions will be treated with total anonymity and discretion. Thank you.

11.    Where did you buy it? Newsagent (UK) then stocked up on trips overseas 

12.    Did you feel shame in using pornography? No - it was always exciting to see nakedness and especially sex acts and felt normal to want to see pussies!

13.    Did you seek out private adult cinemas to view pornography? Yes. On one occasion I ended at some art house movie by mistake which was a definite anti-climax 

14.    Did your encounter with Porn lead you to seek out more Hard-Core depictions, like urinating or other Taboo sex acts? Yes definitely. At 14 I saw my first hard core porn on VHS and wanted more. In my early 20s I came across peeing in porn (German of course). After the internet came along it was initially to download pee pics, then pee clips and full length movies are download speeds increased. Heaven!

15.    Did you visit other countries to buy or view pornography? If so where? France, Holland

16.    Did you use a mail-order service to buy pornography by post? No

17.    Have you used pornography as a precursor to physical sex, either with a partner or prostitute? Yes - I often watch with my wife (usually group sex) 

18.    Do you think that there was a ‘golden-age’ of pornography? Maybe..right now LOL! There is so much porn available these days it’s unreal 

19.    Do you ever visit old and vintage sites on the internet, to view porn from previous decades? Yes - I’d love to see the first porn movie I saw but to be honest I prefer modern stuff

discarded Penthouses, Hustlers, Playboys.

     discarded walking  home, traded mags with kids in school.

10.    Did you regard it as a secret? From parents when at home, yes. With live in partners we'd look

other Taboo sex acts? Yes, when older brother brought home German Pee mags from his army tour.

Philippines, and Hong Kong had fabulous sex shops. Some with live performances.

Yes a few times. Still watch HD videos with wife naked leading up to a full bore sex weekend.

   keep getting better and better, particularly with the amateur videos available, editing, cameras

1. I first encountered pornography in the late 70s. 

2. The pornography was in the form of top shelf magazines.

3. Such pornography was handed arounds amongst friends typically.

4. It was softcore pornography featuring naked ladies in explicit poses but no sex acts. The mags also included more hard core stories, including if I were very lucky the occasional pee scene.

5. These mags were legal, but about the limit of what could be gotten away with in those more repressed times.

6.These early encounters certainly did lead me to seek out further pornography when I was old enough to get away with buying it.

7. In the early years most was discarded but I kept a small number of mags, mostly those featuring any aspect of peeing in the stories or readers' letters. Not until much later and older when I was secure in my own flat did I feel free to gather a stash of videos.

8. Any porn I bought was always for personal use.

9. In the early days when still living with my family or otherwise in shared accommodation, I usually simply stashed it under the bed. Once I had my own place I kept it in a wardrobe.

10. I mostly kept my porn to myself.

11. In the early days I bought top shelf magazines from newsagents. To minimise embarrassment I sought out newsagents where males were serving. Later I started ordering VHS videos via mail order from addresses in Holland, Germany, and Italy. Got ripped off a few time but discovered a couple of reliable suppliers.

12. When young I felt a sense of shame about my fetish, but not particularly about pornography. Porn was seen as a normal thing by my peers.

13. I have never been to any kind of cinema to view porn. I prefer privacy.

14.  I definitely wanted to seek out hard core porn, particularly videos. I got lucky in the mid to late 80s when my then best mate used to babysit for the couple that then ran the local sex shop. In return he'd have access to their still then illegal hard core stash sold under the counter, and would copy them. I would get to borrow them, and some of them featured pissing. When older and secure in my own flat I specifically went for hard core peeing vids to buy via mail order.

15. I never visited other countries to seek out porn.

16. Yes in my later years I bought a lot of porn via mail order.

17. I have used pornography as a way of getting off when sex was unavailable. I have never incorporated it into any sexual acts with people.

18.  I think the golden age of pornography is probably right now in the internet age. Pre internet it was far more restricted and expensive.

19. I like viewing vintage porn sometimes. Some of the pee porn from previous decades can be as hot as anything today. Though very little of it is British since it was totally illegal here except for softcore.

20. Of all the earliest mags I first encountered, this one - Fiesta - was my favourite...

I liked this magazine in particular because some of it's stories included the occasional pee scene and it also featured supposed readers' letters from ladies into wetting. Though I suspect  most of these were made up, lol.

I was going to mention Fiesta too but didn’t as it wasn’t the very first porn mag I ‘came across’. Talking about amateurs, they had a great Reader’s Wives section (who knows if it was for real). Did a quick search and here’s one I definitely came across before. Seems so innocent now!

Magazines, first Playboy then Penthouse and finally Hustler.

Bought by myself, very nervously and surreptitiously at news-stands.

At first soft but as the decade went along it got harder especially with Hustler.
