Between all my hiking, biking and boating, it has always struck me as perfectly natural to pee outside. For many years, I thought it was strictly a guy thing. I have too. While this isn't all the time, it's not all that uncommon. Long hours spent on the trail or in small boats, enjoying the company of only nature and one another usually yield a comfortable familiarity, not to mention full bladders. As they say, "pee happens."

I've found that out on the trails a lot of inhibitions break down in the face of necessity. The combination of a few hours along with enough fluid intake to avoid dehydration usually lead to some pretty full bladders. Away from facilities there are only a few options. Usually, it's actually less awkward to pee in sight of your trail partner than to spend several time finding a place to hide. Sure, a lot are prudish about this matter, but, for a great many, necessity trumps modesty. I also try to ease their anxiety by being the first who has to pee. I'll tell them, if my behavior is offending,

My way to see if women are interested is pretty similar. We're out somewhere far from facilities when I'll say, "I really have to pee." The way I say it makes it appear, at least, that the urge came on suddenly. I'll then quickly follow with, "if it offends you, please look the other way." Since we're usually in some place where it's probably more awkward for me to find a place to hide than pee in close proximity, I usually have my golden opportunity to see if they're into this.

tmg, it sounds like your interest was latent, lurking there beneath your consciousness. All it needed was the spark from your ex. Your're spot on when you say it can be such an intense experience, probably the most intimate and erotic thing you can ever do without being inside another person. And, for many, maybe even more so. Paul, I think your cousins and girlfriend may be outliers, but you're right in that the interest starts within us. I'll bet you really looked forward to those family reunions. :wink: Who enjoyed those get-togethers more, them or you? :)

Well, Cat, I'm glad :wink: to learn you didn't wet your pants. Save that experience for when you want to. :) But, I was hoping you'd have a story of getting caught short like your friends and having to pee behind a bush or something. I'm pretty much in full agreement with you, Steve. Although, I'm not so sure that it's so much we grow out of this link between sexual desire and peeing. I think it's more a matter of social conditioning. I would say at least on some occasions most of us are what I call pee-curious. If we could watch another person peeing, their gender depending upon our orientation, and get away with it with absolutely no repercussions, most of us probably would. Interesting thing, I'd had them in my car for other purposes, the ties still there from when I fixed loose wires in my trunk, the line was for my kayak. It wasn't until I left the movie that I realized the situation was funny.

I saw "50 Shades of Grey", actually had a woman take me. :) By no means a great movie, but it was not as bad as some guys say. As for putting ideas in women's heads, I don't think it's having much success. My date never even asked why I had cable ties and a coil of line in my car. ;-)

I just got back from one road trip the other day and I'm already planning another one. Only this time I'd like to bring a woman along. It's sure to be a scenic trip, but it's a lot of driving. I've long known about the effects of B vitamins upon the color of one's pee, but I'd sometimes forget that it was in what I'd eat and drink. I recall hiking in Colorado some years ago. I was trying out a new protein drink that day. A couple hours in and two bottles worth was needing to come out. To say the least, I surprised myself with a glowing yellow-green pee. I did a pretty good job freaking out my hiking partner, too! :eek:

I've long enjoyed sailing small boats. Many times I had a woman crew with me. More than one when they had to pee, they'd just hike out and pee through their shorts or bikini bottoms. After all, they were already wet from the spray.
