@Bacardi Thanks for sharing your story as well! I feel you about the love/hate relationship with the scale and the feeling of despair when the weight goes up a little.

But that's when I come back to the idea of a "lifestyle change" vs. a "diet." A lifestyle change has to be sustainable. It has to be something I can realistically stick with for the rest of my life. So should I beat myself up over gaining a few pounds after going on vacation and eating out every night? Should I NEVER have a cheeseburger, or ice cream again? Of course not. For me that's neither realistic nor sustainable. 

For me it's all about moderation. Making healthier choices, not extreme choices.

I can only comment as a hot tub owner, who is responsible for the upkeep. Short answer is that honestly, I don't think it is that bad. It's more the "ick" factor. 

Human urine has very little in it that would affect the general chemical balance of hot tub water. It's slightly acidic, has some salts, etc. None of that really affects hot tubs too much. Not to mention that hot tub water is also exposed to sweat, dead skin, deoderant, skin creams, perfumes, etc.

It's more a matter of whether you want to "soak in your own pee" or others' pee. Especially because hot tubs don't get drained much, the water just recycles over and over. 

I have two stories along these lines, one mine, and one from a close friend.

When I was in college, I dated a girl "R" for a summer. We hung out in my on-campus apartment, but also went on dates, on walks, etc., and to the lake. On one of our early dates, we were at the lake (at night). We were making out, and doing some gentle "petting." As a relatively young guy (19 maybe?), I was "up and down" that whole time, which can actually be exhausting (think "blue balls"). For me it was similar to the feeling of needing to pee. So I asked her "Do you care if I pee?" She said "No, I don't care." So I peed on the rocks of the pier, only a few feet from where we were sitting. The other story involves my close (female) friend, "K." This happened maybe 10 years ago, but I still see "K" all the time. In the area where I live, we have a beautiful canal, with walking paths all along it, and it's a popular recreation spot. 

Unfortunately for K, although the canal area is fairly well developed, there were no public bathrooms anywhere near where they were, and she had had soda (and a refill) at dinner. Her bladder was screaming, and she was going to have to make a decision. She didn't want to pop a squat on a first date, and didn't think she'd have time to find another restaurant or business and get to a bathroom. Before she could make a decision, her body made it for her, and the first warm spurt escaped.

But all the while they were just walking along the gravel canal path in the evening dusk, an no one (including her date!) had any idea that she was actively wetting her pants and pee was running down her legs into her flip flops! So, then the decision was easy. Little by little, she kept discretely peeing through her black shorts, down her leg, and onto the gravel, as they walked. And to her astonishment, absolutely nothing showed - it was the perfect crime!

She reveled in telling me the story the next day. She was so proud of herself! And she never saw the guy again after that - no second date with him!

I have a small inflatable hot tub, and my wife and I go in it about once a week during the warmer months. I live in an area that gets cold winters, so we take the hot tub down each fall and store it for the winter. 

We usually are in it for 45 minutes to an hour. Given that, it's not often that either the wife or I need to pee while we're in it. We usually pee right beforehand, just before, or just after we put on our swimsuits.

We do hydrate well, however, and occasionally the need does strike when I'm in the hot tub. If I'm close enough to being ready to get out anyway, I'll just hold it. But if I need to pee and we're not ready to get out yet, I'll just stand up and pee into the bush on the side of the tub. It's usually dark when we're in it, so even though we have neighbors close by, they wouldn't be able to see anything.

Unfortunately my wife has never peed in or around the hot tub (that I know of).

During tailgating at a football game was when I had one of my first-ever female public pee sightings. I was about 12 at the time. I went into the woods to pee (probably on the recommendation of my dad?) and about 20 feet in front of me were two women squatting. My view of them was from behind, I could clearly see their naked butts. I don't remember specifically seeing streams, but I wasn't naive, I knew what they were doing. 

In retrospect, that early experience probably influenced my pee kink.

I've commented on all of this before, but I'll try to summarize here. I began introducing pee into our sex routine maybe 2-ish years ago. It began innocently enough. We were having "traditional" sex, and I had to pee. Not really wanting to stop (we were both close to O), I asked her if I could just pee a little inside her. She said "I guess I don't care?"... so I tried. It was actually harder at first than I thought it would be. But I managed to squeeze a little out, and then almost instantly came. It was a weird feeling (at first).

Since then it has become a fairly normal part of our routine. It doesn't do anything for her, but she doesn't care if I do it. The most common time I do it is if she's on her period. I shoot some pee into her to "clean things out," then we have sex as normal. 

Sometimes I'll still pee inside her even if it's not that time of the month. Sometimes the urge just strikes, and I "go with the flow."

All in all she's a little weirded out, but I don't think it's a problem. We have a decent enough sex life (with or without pee), and have a good, strong marriage as a whole. As a guy, I can say it's very possible for me. If I happen to jump in the shower with a full bladder, it's one of the quickest / easiest ways to masturbate for me. I usually let out a few spurts as I go, both for lube and just because it feels good. When I'm finished, I let the rest out.

As for women, as best I can tell, experiences seem to vary. For exanple, this topic is discussed on Reddit a lot - on forums like r/sex and r/askredditafterdark. Women will post topics like "masturbating with a full bladder," or "sex with a full bladder feels better."

Women seem to be split 50/50 between "Yes, it feels great," and "No, it doesn't feel good, it's too distracting."

My kink has definitely evolved over the years. Being that I am a man, and have no training or particular qualifications to comment on women's bodies and health practices, I am in no position to comment on that.

As for my own experience, after we are finished, my wife pees, and I would assume that most of my pee trickles/drips out as she's sitting there on the toilet. She doesn't shower afterward, we just go to bed.

This is a topic that's discussed here fairly regularly. I've commented on it several times in the recent past. 

Generally speaking, it is safe. But every woman is different, and results can vary. 

I have been doing this with my wife fairly regularly for about two years, and she has had no ill effects. We've done everything from a little squirt here and there to a full bladder release.

She has not had any problems with UTIs or vaginal infections as a result. The only complaint she has had is that she doesn't really enjoy the "full" feeling of when her vagina fills like a water balloon. But other women might like that feeling.

It can be difficult for the man to "perform" on command; some have difficulty peeing when erect. This was not really a problem for me personally.

Getting in an appropriate position can be challenging too, depending on what you're trying to do. We tried it in the shower stall, but it was uncomfortable for my wife to bend over like that. We tried it on the bathroom floor, both in missionary and doggie style, both using bath mats, and have had mixed results. On the bed is definitely easiest and most confortable, but you'll need lots of towels.

I am married, and happily committed. So in considering a "hot stranger," it's difficult to assess, because I have no plans to cheat on my wife. But if we're talking purely hypothetically, yes, I would be turned on by partaking in pee acts with a stranger. 

Yes, my fetish definitely affects my sex life. Even though I don't incorporate pee into every sexual encounter with my wife, I am usually thinking about it in at least some regard.

As with some of the other commenters, my wife pees with the door open usually, so it's pretty much a daily thing. We have a bathroom adjoining our bedroom, so we pee before bed, while the other is there.
