I’m in a college town and have the idea to walk around and ask strangers that I pass, “excuse me, this is an awkward question, but do you know anywhere around here that it’s okay to take a piss?”

how do you think this would go over? Has anyone tried it before?

What is a slip in regards to male style clothing? I’ve only heard of a slip in reference to the female styled lingerie. 
 

Shaving, I like to keep it trimmed short down there but not actually clean shaven. Not sure if this counts as shaved or not?

I’m not at all shy about peeing in pools, but the limited amount of water in hot tubs sometimes gives me pause. More than that though, is just releasing into the hot tub is so discrete there is almost no fun in it. To date, I’ve peed in the hot tub (a few times), hung my butt over the side and peed through my swimsuit so that the pee ends up on the concrete surrounding the tub instead of in it (a couple times), gotten out to stand in the grass next to the tub and just flood my swimsuit with pee (once), gotten out and jumped in the pool to pee there (several times). 
 

It seems like men are more likely to announce their need to pee and then go hop in the pool to pee since peeing in the pool is so widely accepted. Women seem less likely to announce their need to pee so I suspect they are just peeing in the hot tub, but they may also be waiting until a natural time to make their way to the pool and peeing there without announcing it.

I accomplished almost all your suggestions! Peed in hot tubs multiple times; peed slowly into my wet bathing suit while standing on the wet pool deck a couple times; never actually peed in a pool since I only went in the hot tubs as the pool was too cold; peed in the shower in my cabin but didn’t see any dressing rooms so didn’t pee there or in the communal showers since we had our own shower. I tried really hard to pee while going down the water slide, but couldn’t relax enough with all the twists and turns of the ride. 

My gf and I are going on our first ever cruise shortly. Does anyone have experiences from peeing on cruises? What about ideas or recommendations for sneaky places we could pee? Definitely don’t want to get caught but also want to have some fun ;)

You could try something like challenging each other to completely fill a plugged sink, bath tub, washing machine, etc over the course of a day. If there are his and hers sinks in one of the bathrooms you could make it a competition to see who could fill up their sink to the brim first! 
 

To test your gf’s skill at aiming you could put a dirty plate on the floor and see if she could get it clean by blasting it with her pee. Or just open the dishwasher before you run it and see how many dishes she can rinse clean with her piss while standing. 
 

Pissing on dirty laundry is a classic for a reason! Always fun! 
 

Definitely the no peeing in a toilet for the whole weekend rule. Perhaps also a rule against peeing in the same place twice? Then just make sure to drink lots of water/alcohol and you’ll be forced to get creative.

My partner and I have been discussing me peeing while I’m inside her but she’s worried about yeast infections. Anyone have first hand experience or a medical article about whether or not this is a problem, and if so, whether there are any solutions?

Ah ha! I finally came across a video showing approximately what I meant by the “sit on a wall” option since that option may not have been clear. Basically what is shown in this video except seated a couple inches further back so the pee flows over the wall/curb instead of shooting past the edge.

Wearing dark swim shorts that are super quick drying can work okay. I've tried this once or twice, but the issue I've run into is that you end up with only the inside thigh of the shorts being wet, and when wet they stick to the skin in a way that makes it obvious they are wet, even if they are dark in color. Perhaps people would just not notice since they are swim shorts, but I definitely got self-conscious as I was letting spurts out and ended up stopping before making too big a wet section. Anybody else experience this, or have solutions to make it more discreet to wet in swim shorts? I want to try kneeling down, sitting on my heels in the sand to see if that is more discreet.

I had a great experience this weekend while out sailing. It was me and this girl, mid 20s, on my 18ft catamaran - no toilet. Even before we leave, she is talking about needing to pee, but says she'll wait and just pee off the boat. We get in our wetsuits, and head out to sea. After sailing for a bit, I need to pee, so I open my fly and pee over the leeward edge. Not long after, she remarks that she really needs to pee at this point. I offer her a few options: Sit on the trampoline of the boat and pee through the netting, hang her butt off the side, are get in the water. She opts to keep her wetsuit on and hang in the water. My boat can't really stop moving, so we slow down to about 4 knots, and, while holding onto a line, lowers her bottom half into the water. Since we're still moving she's getting dragged by the boat, water rushing around her as she's pulled along. After a couple moments of trying to relax, she sighs and states that she has started. After a good 30 seconds I ask if she's still going and she says yes. At last she says she's done, and rolls onto her stomach to change the flow of water so that it flushes the pee out of her wetsuit. She comments on how nice the water is, then climbs back aboard and we resume sailing.

We're out for many hours and go through a lot of rum and water. I pee once more out the fly of my wetsuit, and we actually talk about peeing quite a bit over the course of the sail. Discussing techniques, experiences, etc. She mentioned that she though the best technique for men to pee on the beach, was to dig a hole and then lay over it face down and pee into the hole - a technique i'd never tried, but am now curious to do so. For herself, she said she didn't use any special methods at the beach, and rather just went into the water every time, which surprised me, given how many different techniques this community mentioned (see poll below) and how open to peeing she was. The sail continued and she said she needed to pee again and asked me to slow the boat down so she could do the same overboard maneuver as the first time. Of course, I obliged. After that, I was too jealous, and the water seemed so nice, so I had her take over while I hung over the side of the boat and dragged in the water. The warm pee filling my wetsuit felt amazing, as always, and the water rushing past as the boat pulled me along was an incredibly relaxing experience. I peed for ages, but not quite as long as she had peed for.

Anybody else have stories of how they pee on the beach or how they pee off a boat?

I think most, but not all of the ladies discussing stray streams here have already voted in the poll below, but I'm wondering if accounting for stray streams impacted what your most-used methods of peeing in public were? The poll is almost a dead tie, so hard to know from the data till we get more responses.

My late husband and I both grew up in a hunting environment (upper midwest USA) and continued after we were married. Usually after a 45 minute drive while consuming coffee we were ready for a pee when we hopped out of the truck.

We stayed out for as long as I was comfortable (warm enough). Husband never said anything openly but he would just step to the side (not turn away) to pee and suggested I squat to pee in the same area (visible to him).

Sometimes his brother came with us. There was always a lot of teasing  ( only one cup of coffee so I wouldn't have to leave to pee - hah!) but everyone was happy with the guys peeing behind one bush and me going behind a different one in another direction.

I have an 18ft catamaran with no toilet, or even a deck, its just a trampoline between two sealed hulls. The boat is very low to the water and basically the whole boat (and its occupants) get washed down every major wave you crash over. Of the girls I've sailed with regularly enough to know how they pee, one always just peed through her wetsuit, meaning I never actually got the knowledge of when exactly she was peeing since she didn't announce it, but she did admit that was how she peed. The other (my gf, who knows I like pee), was wearing a shorty wetsuit, so pulled the crotch to one side and let her pee flow through her bikini and out over the top of the hull, till the next wave washed it away. Me personally, I will usually whip it out and pee of the leeward side, or if its a particularly nice day and i'm just in board shorts, no wetsuit, i'll just kneel in the middle of the trampoline and wet myself. The middle of the trampoline sags low enough that the tips of the waves splash through, cleansing the trampoline and myself after I'm done.

I'll agree with the others that on 20-40ft boats, even if they do have a toilet, the standard is to pee off the edge, due to how inconvenient it is to deal with the toilet. I'd go so far as to say its almost rude to the owner not to pee off the side. Women generally get a pass here, but the bucket or over the edge is certainly encouraged. I've heard of some folks even telling the ladies that they can pee next to the drain holes in the cockpit, just straight onto the deck, but I don't have any first hand experience with this.

Wow, you did it in pants?! I would've guessed you go wearing a skirt for sure! Quite the feat to pull of, nicely done.

From that moment I was hooked.  I learned to read their body language, so I could sometimes spot when a girl needed to piss.  That was not difficult when she was blatantly holding herself, but could be more subtle.

I discovered that some girls would try hard not to be spotted while they emptied themselves.  Others didn't seem to care if people might watch them weeing (or perhaps they just didn't think that anyone would notice).  I liked to watch the trickle running from their swimsuits as they squatted over the wet sand, or crouched over the surface of the sea.

I pee in the water and in the showers but i don't want to bother others with the possible smell. 

In my experience (to be fair, I haven't peed in the sand yet - planning to as soon as i get a chance - but i have peed on rocks at the beach), it doesn't smell because the beach is basically always windy and extremely well ventilated since its outdoors and right by the ocean. If you're talking about peeing into your towel, I'm not quite as sure, but my guess would be that there would still be enough wind to make the smell imperceptible. The pee soaks quickly through the rocks into the sand, so there isn't a lot sitting on the surface to create a lot of smell.

Any ideas for the next poll I should make?

Hahah no, it definitely isn't hard to imagine people peeing in the locker room image i sent, but it is a bit surprising - at least since I haven't seen anyone do it and have spent awhile in similar locker rooms for various sports.

Are you able to find an image on google/etc of approximately what the changing rooms you normally pee in look like?

That, and sit and pee through my skirt in to the seat are the ones I find easiest to get away with, and both are rather pleasant to do.

Ah pauly, you're right! I guess the closest ones on there would be "Wearing a skirt, stand to pee against a wall/tree/etc without a device" and "Wearing a skirt, slide to the front edge of your chair and pee onto the floor under the table/booth" but obviously not quite the same as what you're describing. If a lot of people vote in this poll, I'll try and make another one to refine the results and add in the stuff I missed, like your suggestions above.

@Paulypeeps I love the iteration! That would be a ton of fun if I could convince her!
