I suspect that the smell might be the cause of people's distrust. Odd really that it is just the modern practices of peeing in the same place, and peeing somewhere that the pee won't dry, are the things that make pee appear smelly! PP

People don't have to clean up very often. Pub and club carpet is pretty grubby anyway and never gets cleaned. I go to the last house in the cinema so the seat gets to dry naturally. If you think about where and when you pee it need not make work for anyone. PP

I know that most people (including my very accepting friends) think that I am a naughty person, but to me naughty is doing something unacceptable, and I would never intentionally do something I would think of as unacceptable. Hi Sillyme... What is more socially acceptable? Of the three Watersports is the only one that has any normal social acceptance unfortunately. When I wet it is mainly for convenience, but I do enjoy it too. I wet myself whenever I go out. If I need to pee I just pee - ideally exactly where I am. I am aware that some people won't like me wetting myself, especially when it is soaking into the seat or carpet, so I am discreet, but my friends know I wet so I don't hide it from them. It does not make me emotional! PP

I remember wetting myself in the pub once, and it was not until I had thoroughly soaked the seat that the smell reminded me that I had eaten asparagus pie! No one appeared to notice though and it did not stop me wetting the seat a few times more. I think I washed the asparagus smell into the carpet. PP

Horse hair upholstery as used on old trains works really well in letting the pee drain away leaving the moquette covering completely dry almost immediately. I sat and peed through my skirt on the seat on the train once and went to the buffet, and when I got back someone was sitting in my seat clearly not noticing that I had just peed in it. The technology is already done and tested!
