glad1 2,832
I thought it might be time for the Doctor to make a return. In the last couple years, where so much medical quackery has been passed off a facts, wouldn't it be nice to get some straight answers from a respected source? I will be glad 😉 to provide references who will vouch for both my dedicated research as well as my outstanding character. So, I welcome any questions you have about our favorite topic, the more specific and explicit the better. Who, what, when, where and why, how often, how much, how fun is it to try....? If I don't have an answer, I'll look into it. Any volunteers? Link to post
glad1 2,832
One thing I neglected to say is I won't be embarrassed about anything you may ask. But, if you think your question is too personal, you can always PM me. Link to post
glad1 2,832
Thanks, Peewee. It feels good to be here, too. I'll take any questions you have, even the most embarrassing ones. Link to post
Peewee123 1,124
Ok. Why when I eat asparagus or onions does my pee smell weird?! Does this happen to everyone or just some? 1 Link to post
glad1 2,832
The smell may be weird, but it's a very good question. Asparagus and onions have compounds that, when metabolized, give a strong ammonia-like smell to your urine. This seems to be true for most everyone, but the odor can be diluted by drinking more water. 1 Link to post

There’s an oddity with asparagus: a particular smell in the urine of someone who’s eaten it, but not everyone can detect the smell - strongly determined by genes, apparently: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/314722 Link to post
Bacardi 10,132
Hey doctor Glad, can I have another massage 🤗💆🏽♀️ neck has been super stiff recently. ETA: massage my bladder. That has been aching too 😋 Edited January 20, 2022 by Bacardi 1 Link to post
glad1 2,832
A bladder massage can be very helpful, Depending on where you apply pressure and the intensity of touch, it can calm an overactive one or relieve a blockage, It's something you can do yourself, although it seems to be more effective with a partner. If I give you one, Bacardi, it won't be my neck that's super stiff. 🤣 2 Link to post

Does this happen to everyone or just some? Yes, the smelly pee happens to everyone, but some people don't have the ability to smell it. So, they may think their pee doesn't smell, but probably it does and they can't smell it. 1 Link to post
Paulypeeps 5,287
Is there a definitive list of things that cause 'Asparagus pee smell'? I have had my pee smell the way it does after eating asparagus without going near asparagus. It can sometimes be a little disconcerting to be wetting myself discreetly in the pub and have the unmistakable smell of asparagus pee wafting up! 1 Link to post

It can sometimes be a little disconcerting to be wetting myself discreetly in the pub and have the unmistakable smell of asparagus pee wafting up! There are other foods that often give you the 'asparagus pee smell.' Some of the chief offenders are coffee, onions, garlic, beets and especially fish. I'd recommend you to refrain from these for at least a few hours before you venture into the pub. You can also reduce the smell by drinking cranberry juice and taking vitamin C. Obviously, increasing your water intake will dilute both the color and odor of your urine, although I doubt that's something I need to tell you. 1 Link to post
Paulypeeps 5,287
Crikey, onion and garlic are going to be impossible to avoid, I suspect pretty much every meal I eat after breakfast has at least one of these in it! I suspect that the culprit might be fish then. It does not happen often, so perhaps is a particular 'unnamed' variety that gets slipped in as white fish instead of cod and haddock. I have on occasion been eating a pie before going out and realised that it had asparagus in it, and gone out anyway. When I know I just keep away from other people when I am wetting myself so the source of the smell is not obvious. I do drink an awful lot so my pee is very dilute, but it does not appear to dilute the asparagus smell at all. It is one of those smells that if you can smell it you are very sensitive to it. So now I know. 1 1 Link to post
Sexismygod 1,782
Sometimes, when I'm watching porn and doing a mild hold (just so I can have a nice pee release) I reach a state where I need to pee constantly, even if I just peed 5 minutes ago. This sensation continues until I masturbate. After orgasm, the relentless need to pee goes away. What causes this? Is there a link between sexual arousal and the need to pee? I know there's a link between needing to pee and sexual arousal, but can being aroused for a prolonged period cause a need to pee? Edited January 22, 2022 by Sexismygod Link to post

The urinary and genital systems are in close proximity and share many things in common. I suspect what your experiencing is the result of both increased hormone production as well as stimulation to the nerve endings. The urge to both ejaculate and urinate often occur simultaneously. You might say, you don't know whether you're coming or going! 🤣 If you've been peeing constantly, there's likely little in your bladder. After your orgasmic release, you probably won't need to go again until it's close to full. 1 Link to post

I've both masturbated and have had sex with a full bladder and each time I've came the need to pee goes away for a while. When it comes back it comes back with a vengeance tho 😬 1 1 Link to post

Over a few drinks one evening, she confessed to me she couldn't get off otherwise. I offered her suggestions that might relieve her situation, but was quickly rebuffed. In fact, she thought I was the pervert for suggesting she might want to give masturbation on a full bladder a try. Edited January 23, 2022 by glad1 1 Link to post
