I was on one of the popular video sites and came across a collection of different women from India (according to the video labelling and the clothing style) urinating in what appeared to be their homes (not apartments or commercial toilets).  In all of the videos, I didn't see any toilet (Western, squat or otherwise), just concrete floors.  I really didn't see a drain either - their urine just splattered and pooled across the floor.   All of these women appeared to be peeing in rooms with a plain floors or maybe there was a toilet out of view.

I assume that the drain was also out of view and that these rooms are some sort of a showering/bathing room that doubled as a place to pee (regularly? or maybe just for the videos?).

• Can anyone from India or that has lived in India elaborate on this floorplan or place?
• Where do they go to the toilet if they need more than to just pee?
• Do guests just openly pee in this concrete room too?

There seem to be many videos and I am curious in the cultural differences to this porn.

Not Indian myself, but it's clearly just porn. You can find American people doing the same thing if you look hard enough. 

Most Indians either have a toilet, or go outside. Sadly, a lot of social problems arise from the latter.

Great question. I've seen similar videos and have wondered the same thing. 

I can't speak for India, as I have no personal experience there. However, when I was younger, about 20 years ago, I was working as an Engineer for an Aerospace company, and I spent a month in Indonesia setting up a manufacturing facility. 

The employees there (men and women) definitely weren't used to western toilets (and urinals). I remember having a discussion with one of the local managers, and he said that each cubicle/stall needed a water spigot and floor drain. Apparently people there wash their entire lower body after using the bathroom? Perhaps someone can verify this?

It's not common in Indonesia for people to discuss bathroom habits, but I've seen videos, and (based on the videos), it looks like to women enter the cubicle, close the door, pull up skirts/dresses, squat, pee on floor, then use a scoop of water (from a bucket) to clean themselves and wash the pee and water toward the floor drain. 

In the videos I've seen, it seems the women don't make any particular effort to pee over the drain. The just squat and pee wherever they feel like (within the cubicle), then use the water to wash it all toward the floor drain.

A funny (unrelated) story. As I mentioned above, at the time (20-ish years ago) the factory workers in Indonesia were not used to a western-style bathroom, which is what my (US-based) company chose to build there.

One time I walked into the mens room and saw an employee washing his hands in the urinal. Ha, eww. I guess he thought it was a different style of sink?

This reminds me of another similar, funny story, albeit slightly off-topic. 

15-or-so years ago, a colleague and I were in Saudi Arabia for a customer visit. We were traveling by taxi from the coast (near Bahrain) to the inland (Riyadh). During the (long) drive, my colleague and I both needed to use the bathroom. Our driver did not speak English, so we had to gesture "we need to pee" to the driver!

Eventually we came to a village, and the driver took us to a (primitive) bathroom. There was this trough thing, and we actually didn't know if it was a urinal or a sink! Regardless, we peed in it, and went on our way!

This is what I have seen in the videos.

Two things strike me as culturally different:

1.  Having a concrete floored room in my house

2.  Just peeing on said floor instead of into some sort of toilet/urinal device that goes directly to a pipe.

Very common. Indian houses mostly have one toilet and one bath room. Bathroom has one drain in the corner. Even if the bathroom and toilet are together it is more convenient for women to squat and go on the floor and for men to stand and pee into the drain.

The nation dotes urolagnia and scat honestly. Also, ladies otherwise conservative have quite open attitude to seeking relief while traveling on the road or attending outdoor events. Due to the huge population, if a lady needs to seek relief of her bladder, she does not have much choice but to do it on the road under minimal discretion. One may not come across this in major cities or highways but when it comes to the less common roads usually in lesser developed areas, outside is the norm and the gratuitous show of their privates that comes as a fringe benefit for us males is generally ignored by the society and the ladies.

Just like outdoor events here in the west, emptying bladder and bowel becomes quintessential for both ladies and gents. They travel long distances to attend these events, usually religious in nature, tend to attract a huge crowd. The organizers arrange for temporary measures like porta potties or small rectangular spots fenced with thin wall made of thin fabric. Generally, ladies reject these and resort to the open ground. Here usually its ladies haphazardly spread all over the ground. An interesting point to observe is the relative lack of discretion from the ladies as there is a presence of men around, passing by. They don’t usually squat with the ladies but  not that ladies are bothered to cover up their privates nor is there any expectation to for modesty’s sake.

In fact, if one was to walk around the field, he would pass by a woman or few women squatting within inches, least bothered with their crotch on show. Many times they would be accompanied by their children.

For bowel movement usually it would be early morning or late evening and again a very interesting scenario would be presented. The organizers would dig the topsoil to accommodate the waste. The arrangement was such that women would generally go to one side of the field, while men would walk down a bit further on the opposite side to squat.

As the men would have to walk past the women, it was common to see the ladies squatted releasing their huge turds from their bowels that would be collecting on the ground as a gush of their pee would emerge from their generally unshaven or trimmed slits. I recall all this from seventies, however I have confirmed from reliable sources that it still remains the same. One needs to go further down from major cities for this show. It was an amazing show of intimate bits of ladies in an otherwise conservative society. Interesting to note how selective the so-called expectation of propriety is bent around. The ladies would usually avoid eye contact with men, men would try not to ogle at the ladies. Sometimes some younger ones would break into laughter.
