Thank you so much....   This month is finding me with much more time on my hands.

Once an idea pops to mind (or is suggested) I find myself playing over the scenarios that could arise. It has to be feasible, it has to be realistic, it generally is in the first person.  Nearly always there's a real occurrence at the heart of it, an anecdote that's been shared with me and then the rest of the story written around it.

Hi all, it's Pippa here...   I think you know my older sister quite well - Louise.  Yes, that's her, the perfect one, always looking down on me.

Hi all - it's Pippa here again, and I just wanted to fill you in on what's been happening since we spoke a couple of days ago.  Well, what a whirlwind!

Anyway, it was Sunday we got home, me desperately leaking in my jeans and then flooding her driveway, her looking down her nose and smirking - even though it was her fault.  In the time it took me to get cleaned up she'd already grabbed her work laptop and was swearing under her breath as I walked back into the kitchen.

Hi again all  - it's Pippa again here, with another exciting adventure.   Maybe not exciting...  or maybe it is.  You need to decide.  I know my opinion.

So this morning, I got the kids breakfast sorted, guzzled a large juice and a big mug of coffee and then went to get changed. Rebekah headed out on time for her bus and then Suki and I got our bikes out - well hers and Louise's anyway.  I'd made the effort to look the part, I had Louise's black sports bra on and her specialist lyrca cycling shorts - the all in one sort with shoulder straps and brightly coloured cycling top.  Now I'm not much of a cyclist but I do know you're not supposed to wear any underwear with the shorts.  They're the kind with a thick foam pad and it felt a bit weird, sort of like a maxi period pad I guess or wearing a nappy.

Anyway, I'm not sure who was the most wobbly of cyclists but soon enough Suki was safely at school. "Sorry, they're for patrons only" she briskly announced.

But her reply was just that I'd have to find a table, and the waitress would give me the code when she took my order.

"Fine!" I said through gritted teeth, looking around.  I spotted a seat in the corner, one of those mini booth sort of seats with a fixed table and a velvet clad seat built against the wall.  At least sat with my hands under the table top I could cross my legs and clamp a hand between them, although I couldn't really feel the benefit through the pad.  There was no sign of the promised waitress and I was really, really getting to the point of bursting.  And I was annoyed.  What sort of place doesn't let a customer use the bathroom.  What's a girl supposed to do...  piss on the seat?

Yep - you guessed it...  Sitting there inside the cafe I sort of unfolded my legs, moved my hands and relaxed.
