I could never get into football (both versions) but I do like watching the World Cup and seeing the US actually win a match was something else. First soccer match I ever saw live from start to finish on TV was when Brazil won (1994?) I also saw the Zidane headbutt game too lol.

Tough question. I really like the time I am in now. Probably the early 20th century in NYC. The beginnings of industrialization and "modern" society. In particular, I want to observe the shock that people had as horses were cast aside for automobiles.
