@speedy3471 We had a wildfire scare a few years back. What I remember about it was the total unpredictability. With tornadoes and floods, we have somewhat of a warning and kind of know what to expect. When the fire scare happened, no one knew which way it was headed or who needed to evacuate. That was way scarier than the storms we are currently having to deal with.

Tornados are a part of life here. I’ve seen 6 of them in person. Sat out two more that I never saw in the cab of my tractor/trailer. The power is awesome and should be revered. You’ve never experienced ANYTHING as violent. And, unfortunately, I know violence intimately. When wind is actually painful and cuts like a blade...you learn to respect and have a deep reverence for her power. While it’s terrifying, it’s also fascinating and awesome. Unfortunately, this will cost monumentally. Both in dollars and emotional pain. Families are being uprooted and lives are being destroyed. But...every place has its drawbacks. Here, it’s nasty Spring time weather.

So....I’ve wanted to try this for a while. At least get video of it. Sorry to say, I screwed the video up. But here goes. I started two days ago. I’ve not eaten any meat or processed foods. Only veggies and fruit. No coffee. Nothing at all that I thought would adversely affect the taste of my pee. I stayed SUPER hydrated. Then, right before I did this, I drank a lot of PowerAde Zero Grape, and Nestle Splash Acai Grape flavored water. It’s my favorite for flavoring piss. So...here goes. I only ask that they 1) let me know before going in there, 2) leave no trash behind 3) throw certain fish back and remove some others of caught 4) use no artificial baits unless they’re natural and biodegradable and 5) DO NOT PARK where they parked. That area means something to me. They threw about 100 years worth of cigarette butts and ash out the window BEFORE they went to fish. They left tangled fishing line in big wads all over around my pond. They left a large, expensive grass carp they’d caught dead on the bank😡 They should feel lucky a window wasn’t left down

Immediately following my bit of fun, I went and told them to leave. I hope when they got in, they were embarrassed and angry. I wasn’t at all pleased with how they treated my property, either.

These people ignored my no parking sign and parked in a place I don’t want vehicles. They next ignored my no trespassing sign and entered my property without my permission. And if ignoring two wasn’t enough, they were fishing despite my no fishing sign. Sad thing is...had they knocked on my door and asked, I’d have allowed them on my property and gladly let them fish, had they agreed to my rules. Instead, they violated my property and privacy by parking in a spot that means something to me and leaving their trash along a trail they shouldn’t have been on So.....

I’ve always been it time with and connected to Nature. Especially water. Rivers in particular. But really anything outside. Even do most of my internet surfing outdoors. My job as a truck driver even connects me more to Nature. My favorite thing about it is that I get to see more of Nature. But Rivers. That’s my thing. Moving water has a real true and overwhelmingly awesome power that most do not respect or even realize. It’s why my kayaking and hiking is so important to me.
