I am a big roadside pisser, my penis is usually visible as I would rather stay in sight near my car so people know that I am okay and just need a piss than think that I have broken down.

Honking horns are pretty common, but no one has ever said anything, it's definitely very common in Australia, even in relatively urban areas.

Many times I just pissed in a bottle and tossed it out of the window, one or two time I was on a taxi so I pissed on the floor. But yeah happened a few times that trafic was so stuck that I just got out of the car and pissed before getting in again.

I've done this a few times, mainly when I had to pull over to use the bathroom. Once, in a rural area where I couldn't get out of the car, I used an empty coffee cup. However, whenever I've had to get out of the car, there have never been any beeps or jeers.

I remember years ago getting caught in traffic on a freeway. A sign said the next service station was something like 30 miles ahead but given the traffic I figured that would take at least an hour. So in my mind I had two choices which were to piss my pants or to pull off the highway and take a wizz at the side of the road. I chose the latter because I had a 4 hour trip ahead of me. Had I been on my way home and close to getting there I probably would have chosen the first option. Anyway, I got out, went around to the other side of the car and did my business. I was conscious of the fact that some drivers or passengers were probably looking at me although I was trying to be inconspicuous because it's illegal to stop on a freeway to do this where I live. I got back into my car and a transport truck driver allowed me to ease back into traffic, giving me the two thumbs up sign before waving me forward. I think he understood what it was like to be caught with a full bladder in heavy traffic.

I was in San Fransisco and stuck in traffic with my gf at the time. It was about 11 pm and traffic was not moving and I knew we where not going to get to a gas station or anything soon. I told my gf that I had to piss and she asked me if I had to and I let her know it was not optional. I saw a driveway with some trashcans in it and pulled over to the side of the road hoped out and ran over to the cans. I did look up and there was a camera but honestly I was out of time and what would they do anyway? I was so backed up I had a really long slow piss. About half way through I got bored so I took a few steps back from the wall and let my cock hang out casually. I fished pissing with my cock completely in view from the road and hosed down the trash cans.

When I was about 14 or 15 I needed a piss really badly on a long car journey. My mum told me to wait until we got home. I held it for a bit but I was bursting to go. My mum eventually stopped for me to go. As soon as I climbed out of the car I started to piss in my pants. I had no choice but to quickly get my dick out and piss at the side of the road. If I didn't I'd have flooded my pants. Luckily there was only a small wet spot. 🙈

I've pissed roadside many times in Europe. I love doing it there because its totally natural and culturally acceptable. You can be completely obvious about what you are doing and show your cock and stream to anyone in the area. I love autobahn parkplatz in Germany because they often have nicely designed green and picnic areas. You can park your car, take a few steps into the grass area and let loose. Whenever I fly into Germany and rent a car, I always save my post flight pee for the first parkplatz off the autobahn. It feels like reconnecting with the continent in a weird way.

I also posted a thread on this a while back

See in US a lot of people get offended by it and you risk an indecent exposure police charge Etc

Yes, I know. This is exactly why I love it in Europe. You get on a plane, fly to another content and what is offensive is now completely normal. That was basically the cultural contrast I experienced repeatedly growing up and probably a significant contribution to my pee fetish.

I'm curious, is people drunkenly peeing in the streets at night more common in Europe than the US too?

I can't speak in comparison terms between USA & Europe / UK,  because I haven't travelled recently to US cities during the hours of night.

But definitely in UK cities where weekend drinking definitely equates to drunkenness, then peeing is definitely common.  Take a walk around the crowded bar and club streets on a night when the crowds are milling about and it's almost guaranteed you'll see at least a few guys standing in doorways, alleyways or more public places hosing down the wall in front of them. Streams of liquid flowing across the pavements (sidewalks).  And from experience, girls too although slightly more conscious of protecting their privacy.  If not actually peeing, being seen emerging post pee, or declaring loudly to the group they need a wee.

So yes, as has been said many times on the forum - it is commonplace.

Edit - Sorry, I got drawn off track reading the last couple of posts.   So back to the topic of roadside / traffic.   In the UK, the majority of planned long distance travel takes place on motorways where the culture is that stopping except in a vehicle breakdown or emergency is forbidden, and service areas are usually every 20-25 miles or so.  Hence the culture amongst the 'everyday' people is planning around service areas, where the accepted norm is to use the bathrooms.  I've been at service areas with family during the day when a minibus of guys has pulled up and pissed on the grass though.

Off the motorways, those people who spend their days on the roads - delivery drivers and the like are probably going to pee without any comeback or attention.  Most roadside layby's are literally an extra vehicle width of tarmac with enough space for a few cars or a couple of lorries nose to tail, and the greenery around will often have discarded tissues and other signs or people taking a 'break' there.

Perhaps not as officially planned or used as @Havelock has described in parts of Europe.

Don't it probably end up being all over and a huge messy puddle if it's in doorways of the pub itself or some other establishment or whatever what could it be a restaurant or some house or something like as well 😂 hehe 😜 😈😈 it definitely smells....in the USA its probably the same thing in the city near bars 🍺 and all after closing time or whatever.....I just think people in the US are too uptight and should mind their own business more 😂 😈😈💦💦💦

In Spain you do often end up with a mess of puddles in doorways, storefronts, sidewalks etc. especially during festivals but it does not seem to bother people. Sometimes its so many people that the ground looks like it rained when its a completely dry summer. I was at running of the bulls last year in Pamplona and in a large square with a church in the middle they had set up portable bathroom buildings. But many people were not choosing to use them. Instead they were peeing on the back of them or on the church walls. The church entrance had its gates closed and some people would piss through those. There was also a large ramp to the entrance on one side with a sign asking that people not pee there. Everyone was peeing there. I even saw a families pee there suggesting that its just taught as culturally acceptable. At another point I was walking out of a tapas bar and almost ran into two boys being guided by what I would guess was there grandmother to pee on the wall about a foot from the doorway. So obviously this casual peeing and disregard for location is just normal. If you are taught to do that you are unlikely to stop. Perhaps the difference is that they wash the streets frequently in Spain. In many areas you see crews with big water trucks hosing down the streets at 3-6am.
