Wondering If Viewer of Videos Gets Frustrated Occasionally.

I don't think this is bad photography as much as making an assumption about what the viewer wants to see. Many people like close-ups, therefore video creators try to include close-ups.

Sometimes the zooming/panning in pee or other porn videos can look sloppy, though some of this may be just reflective of how involved the filming of "normal" videos often is. For many scenes in other films, there are multiple cameras capturing different angles (and multiple mics capturing sound from different places in the scene, especially for video of musical performances). I was recently watching this old demo for the first non-linear video editing tool, from 1971: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bNmsKBqFPQ . Of course the video quality was very poor by today's standards, but it's amazing how much editing they were already doing over 50 years ago. Effectively in order to make the video flow, they ironically had to chop up the original footage A LOT. However, capturing all these duplicate "takes" of the same scene requires a lot of equipment and cameras, and in addition to being expensive, I imagine this would put too much pressure on most pee actresses. So they're stuck with one videographer taking video the way someone would film a friend with his or her smartphone, even if using a much better camera.

Personally it doesn't bother me that much--I like videos that feel almost "homemade" and not too staged. Video of a friend peeing by the side of the road can be much more exciting than many porn films, though there are some things that really ruin a video. Super poor resolution or exposure, like security camera footage, isn't interesting to watch, and neither is video where you can't see the stream, even more so when you can't even see a puddle or anything else wet.

I prefer the amateur videos over the professional ones whether it be pee, sex, or other fetishes, despite the imperfections of the amateur videos.  Yes, there can be frustrating times where the video is not showing the action, especially in videos where the person sets the camera up and performs in front of it with no one behind the camera. Or in cases where the person recording is also involved in the action and goes off topic without realizing it.  But that is the price we pay for the better and more realistic reactions and emotions.

I know operating a video cam is not rocket science, but does require some knowledge of how to "properly" capture a scene of an intended subject. There is one basic concept called "framing" which refers to properly putting your subject within an imaginary dimension that fully covers the subject. In this case: beautiful girls pissing. I've had 3 careers-one of which was working as a News Photographer for several newspapers and even 3 TV stations running a video cam.

So with this in mind, I guess you can say I have a critical P-O-V when it comes to seeing someone doing something I used to do.

What I'm wondering, in the context of seeing videos on here, is there anyone else on here who gets as pissed as I do when you see a video of a hot babe pissing, and the camera operator all of a sudden zooms in, or can't hold the freaking camera still. Does this disturb or un-nerve you? I was just basically wondering if someone else feels rattled when the camera is zoomed out on a sexy babe, and then all of a sudden zooms in on her pussy.

Perhaps you could consider this a survey of sorts, but would be curious if this unprofessional use of a video camera upsets anyone else, or what you think of someone moves the camera all over the place.

Your thoughts are welcome.

I am not a camera person by trade, nor do I have any formal training in the art of videography. That being said, yes, shitty camera work drives me insane!! Nothing ruins a perfectly good hard-on like anger. Shakey camera work, speed zooms, etc. However, my greatest pet peeve by far is when a person is pissing in someone's mouth the camera operator zooms in on the mouth so that the pissing genitals are completely out of frame. Seeing the face of the pisser is nice too. But I need to at least see the vulva/penis doing the delivering.

I don't really have the same standards for cell phone videos. Those are usually spontaneous so I get it. Unless they're whipping the phone all over the place. Sure, I understand they've been drinking all night, but c'mon. I've seen pee vids that have less stability than a fly wearing a microscopic go-pro at a picnic.

I  am not frustrated occasionally as much as I am frustrated constantly. I am no cinematographer but the amount of videos that are almost like a hate crime to the viewer is unending. If you think female centric videos are bad just try watching guys videos. If I had a dollar for every grainy video shot from the top down at a flaccid hairy cock catching just the last 4cm of the dick I would have about 150  bucks. I have personally shot videos and I know they are nothing to write home about but I at least try given the time and space I have.

Honestly thank you for bring this topic up because it needed to be said and the first step to improvement is identifying the area that needs fixing.

That being said. It would be illustrative if you could post a couple of what you consider well shot videos. I believe a lot of people really do have a hard time planning out their shots and guidance can be helpful.

Thanks for your feedback. Off the top of my head, the one that comes to mind is the Pornhub video of the babe in tat's walking naked on the beach (probably a pornstar) and then decides she has to pee. The camera person does NOT zoom in and out, does not suddenly zoom for closeup of her pussy, but instead holds the shot steady to properly capture the subject. My absolute fave pics/videos are the babes that pee standing. I absolutely love the standing pee forum. This video is very hot and IMO, professional. But in relation to my initial question, I was just wondering if anyone else had the same aggravation or frustration as I do when seeing someone try to operate a video camera. It was more or less an instant thought of posting the question and see what other people said. Thanks for the feedback Here is a pic from that video. It truly (IMO) is hot and sexy. Cheers.

That is a good full shot. I was specifically bringing up self-shot videos. If I had the luxury of a videographer  I would use your pic of reference. Seeing pussy/dick pissing is the point but have the full body in the shot ties everything together.

Before starting to film, it would make sense to plan the shot. Because bad framing is one thing, but there is also the question of relative position and setup. I mean, even a "spontaneous" outdoor naughty pee of the MDH type, where the filming is done by the model herself, merits some minimum of thought: Where does the light come from? What's in the background? Am I going to capture the essential action? Can I place the camera (smartphone) somewhere such that my position relative to it contributes to the objective of the clip?

There are too many cases of videos where the model just captures her belly / navel whilst peeing or where she puts the camera such that the lighting causes glare or shadow in the crucial spots.

So yes, despite my lack of training or experience with filming, I'm often surprised how semi-professionals can hit so far off the mark on basics.

I've already commented on some other gripes, like wanting to see the aftermath, but that could be attributed to taste and its omission need not signal bad craftmanship.

It annoys me when the camera is bouncing all over the place.  I can't focus on anything in the picture and it almost makes me dizzy.  Totally ruins otherwise hot action.  Closeups also bug me.  What I want to see is what I would see if I were there in person - the whole picture with my choice to select what I want to focus on, not someone making arbitrary decisions on what I am allowed to see.

i'm glad most of us are on the same page!

i hate pee porn that feels blatantly "fake". that includes:

- undressing more than needed (you don't need to completely remove your jeans or bust your tits out just to pee, c'mon)

- extreme close ups on the woman's private area, as others have said i want to get the full picture

- hairless vulvas, but that's personal preference

and the overall vibe of videos feeling too fake

Absolutely. I believe the term used in videography, or film making for that matter is, "visual aesthetics", what is visually pleasing for the audience, or what visually holds your attention. Closeups, and the over-use of, also annoys me. Moving the camera all over the place is not visually pleasing and makes the entire production crappy.
