I can't find anywhere to click on to request becoming a goldmember is it gone?

What's a goldmember besides a Villan on Austin powers? Assuming membership of sorts, what perks had it once had?

It always make me smirk when mentioned.  It was an additional area of the site which was paid for on a subscription basis.  Membership gave various additional capabilities, like being able to Livechat with other Gold Members.  And a large archive of downloadable video clips.   However at the present time, as has been mentioned above the Gold Member part of the site is no longer available to join unfortunately for technical reasons.
