and waving at her wedding guests

This is wonderful detail ... and reassures me she wasn't upset 🙂 It makes the story so much better!

I've always wondered what a bride does when she is already in the gown and has to pee ASAPee.

I envision her sitting on the bown with 2 or 3 bride's maids holding up the gown so it doesn't get wet or touch the floor.

  Is that correct ??

Was out drinking and a friend of a friend was getting married later that year and worried about needing to pee in a poofy dress. Another friend of a friend said  very matter-of-fact to not even attempt going into a bathroom and to just use a five gallon pail in a regular room instead. She said she did it at her wedding and it’s the best way because you can have the pail fully under the dress, no back of the toilet on one side, and no concerns about your gown dragging on a gross bathroom floor. I have no idea if the bride followed her advice or not and I wasn’t at the wedding.
