Popular Post gldenwetgoose 21,487
I *think* something amazing happened this morning, it certainly seemed like it. I really hope I'm right, although I'll probably never find out. This morning I was in work and used the gents bathroom. To build a picture I work in a first floor office of 120 desks, which prior to lockdown were all occupied by four European nationals. Now with the pandemic the majority of people work from home, and on any given day there are maybe 15 people in the office, with a slightly higher number on the ground floor. We're almost all engineers, so it's about a 4:1 ratio of men to ladies. Heading out of the secure door to the office back to the stairwell a small corridor leads off and on it are a disabled toilet, then on the right the door to the gents, a little further on the left the ladies and then at the end some changing rooms. So - mid morning and I was using the furthest of the four cubicles in the gents toilet, without TMI I'd all but finished but still seated when I heard the door of the next cubicle close and the lock. My first thought was it was a little rude using the next cubicle to mine when there were three to choose from, a bit of an unwritten gents toilet rule like not peeking at the urinal. There was a quiet rustle of clothing but otherwise no heavy sighs, burps, farts or any other intrusions. And then the sound of someone peeing. Now this is where I did the meerkat impression - normally when a guy pees sitting down, his stream will flow down the porcelain so there may be the sound of it disturbing the water, but this was different - the sound of water splashing onto water. And it wasn't anything like the sound of a guy standing and peeing into the toilet. Nothing as forceful. Now, being married I do have a very good idea what a lady's tinkle sounds like and this sounded exactly like the most demure, gentle ladylike tinkle you could ever imagine. If ever there was a wee worthing of being called a tinkle, this was it. Constant in its pattern and not much more than a trickle it must have lasted at least thirty seconds. There were no other sounds, no sighs, no coughs, not even the sound of breathing. Then there was the rustle of clothes being adjusted and a clatter as though the toilet seat had got lifted and dropped whilst dressing. At the same time I dressed again, adjusted my mask and unlocked my door. I walked slowly over to the sinks and deliberately and slowly washed then turned and dried my hands. Under the still closed cubicle door I could see a pair of trainers with a white edged sole and as I left my mind was more and more convinced that the occupant was deliberately waiting until I had left. With hindsight I should have waited on the other side of the stairwell pretending to be on a phone call, to see who emerged - but I didn't. Instead I collected my token off the hook (I should have mentioned, access to the toilets is limited to two occupants in the gents, one in the ladies and obviously only one in the disabled. The only tokens on the board were mine and the occupant of the other cubicle. So - plenty of questions and a bit of amateur psychology... Walking back into the office, it wasn't Karen disappointingly - her style of trainers, and a definite tomboy. She was sat at her desk. A few minutes later and I heard a Spanish female voice closeby, which turned out to be a new face in the office, a petite, slim raven haired Spanish lady who I haven't met. Could it be that, since all the toilet outer doors are propped open to minimise touch contact, she'd not seen the 'gents' badge on the door and had just seen the row of stalls inside? Had I had the pleasure of her weeing just the other side of a thin partition? The next hour of so that thought played on my mind... until I saw her walk across the office in a pair of black leather ankle boots. Amazingly though, the new girl was walking with Maria who used to sit quite close to my desk. I hoped it wasn't obvious back then how much I fancied her.... Not as slim, just a natural girl next door sort of figure, very pretty in an unknowing way, not over tall, just very natural. And *gasp* Maria had exactly the kind of trainers on like those I'd seen under the cubicle door earlier. Now the rest of the day I've been pondering lots of questions - was it really a girl who had a wee in the cubicle next to me? Was it Maria? The ladies' toilet with it's sole occupancy could have been in use (although I didn't remember a token on it) and in any case, Maria would have known about the disabled toilet as the other option. If it was Maria, could it have been a deliberate choice to have a naughty wee in the gents? Did she maybe not realise I was in there until too late to abort? Lots of questions I'm sure I'll never answer - but then again there could be a much different and a much less exciting explanation, in which case I don't want to know. 10 6 Link to post

Popular Post wetwulf 3,324
I used to work in an office building in which a dance studio was also located. Near the end of my shift, I went to the men's room and walked to the urinal. A few seconds later, I could hear voices outside and a lot of chatter coming from the women's restroom next door. Then I heard someone say, "Anybody in there?" coming from the doorway of the men's. I just said, "Uhhh, yeah," and I could see a woman in black leggings and a snug pink tank top standing at the doorway. At my answer she covered her eyes and started to walk in. "I'm not looking, but the girl's bathroom is full, and I really have to pee." She did her best to walk to the nearest stall, closed and locked it behind her, and then in the space at the bottom of the stall I saw her leggings and panties go down and very soon heard her pee blast into the water, followed by a very shameless sigh. I finished my business, washed my hands, and then heard her say, "Sorry. I couldn't wait." I assured her it was okay and walked back to my office. 3 3 5 Link to post

Is this a general rule in your country, or company? It does sound ridiculous doesn't it. But the logic is to minimise close contact and airborne distribution of the covid virus to others within the fairly small four-walled area of the bathroom. So instead of 80 guys using a bathroom with four stalls and eight urinals, there are currently only maybe a dozen guys working in the building and only two people allowed in at one time. So there's a board outside with two hooks on it. If both hooks have tokens on them then use the disabled instead. Similar for the ladies, only as there are very few ladies they're only given one hook to put a token on. (We don't have to go and ask permission to piss). A couple of weeks ago we stayed on a campsite, and the national association the runs sites up and down the country is using exactly the same measure - a maximum capacity of 4 people in each bathroom and controlled using a token system. LoveTheTinkle 110
And if your employer is anything like mine, even hinting at what happened could lead to a sexual harassment claim. (Ironically, I just finished the annual corporate training about that exact subject 15 minutes ago). 1 Link to post

Absolutely - this is a scenario which is staying very much within the confines of my mind - oh, and a few other people on here. Names have been changed too to protect those who may (to a greater or lesser extent) be innocent. I'd guess your corporate training is a dull online module, but in the old days of face to face meetings with worked examples to be role-played out, I'm love to be a fly on the wall discussing this scenario lol. It'd be an interesting topic for sure). Link to post
UnauthorisedGuy 510
Thanks GWG - an interesting read! Based on what you've posted, it seems more likely than not that it was Maria. I wonder if it's occurred to her that her shoes have given her away? Edited May 13, 2021 by UnauthorisedGuy 1 Link to post
Alfresco 11,631
I love these scenarios. If that were me in your position I'd be really enjoying what I believed to have just happened, but also continually frustrating myself over whether what I believed was true and also as to what the reasoning was for a lady using the gents - especially as it was unlikely that both the ladies and the disabled were occupied. As you say, the sounds are completely different, so chances are that it was the lady. You've spotted the same trainers, so that even further supports the theory. It is almost conclusive that it was indeed Maria. Then I would be wondering why she chose to go in the gents when she could obviously see by the token that there was someone already in there - she would not have known whether they were in the stalls or at a urinal and when she discovered that the cubicle was occupied, she chose to use the one next to the occupied one. My mind would now be wondering whether she actually WANTED you to hear and maybe even had been watching and knew that it was you that had gone in before her. Maybe she was hoping to catch someone at the urinal and blurt out an excuse about the ladies being occupied? Probably none of the above, but that is just the way my mind would be heading. I think if it were me, then I definitely would have found a way to see who came out of the toilets after me. From what you said, she was already dressed when you went to the sink, so I agree that she was waiting for you to leave. She was probably already dressed and then sat back down on the toilet. I might have considered making various noise at the sink and then drying hands, then going out and coming back in quietly and standing at the urinal or I may have tried staying in the stairwell on the phone like you suggested or even going back into the main office but staying where I could see the door to the stairwell, so at least you could see who was next to come back into the office. Another interesting point - you didn't mention any sound of pulling off toilet paper or wiping. Did she not wipe? I wonder what she was feeling? Did she do it for the risk or because she wanted to be in the men's or did she just do it for convenience? Either way, did she have the adrenaline rushing through her as she was panicking about being discovered? I don't know whether you are able to see her desk when you are both in the office and appreciate that you possible aren't both there at the same time very often, but maybe you should keep an eye out and if she heads for the toilets in future, that might be a good time to go yourself and you may find out whether she repeats the experience. 1 Link to post
DrownMeQuick 209
Great story, well told. I definitely would have been the perv loitering at the stairwell with a phone on my ear. But wait, you're not supposed to peek at the urinals? Link to post

Ha ha - you're very welcome to peek when at a urinal any time you like. I was just having a bit of fun with that statement of course, especially after various comments on the subject just of late. But it's that guy thing of personal space. Usually if a urinal or stall is occupied then the next person leaves a gap, just as parking your car in a near empty car park and then finding someone has parked almost touching door handles. 1 Link to post

Parking cars in adjacent spaces in half empty car parks annoys me more than than people standing next to me at urinals. Why do that? I can’t see any reason at all for parking right next to another car when there are loads of empty spaces. It is just inconsiderate, making it harder to get into the car and risks damage to either car. I often park a distance from the shop entrances, making sure there are plenty of spaces between me and the shops and STILL come back to find somebody parked so close that I have to hold my hand on the edge of the door to stop it hitting the next car and then be a contortionist to get in. I may find it slightly odd if someone stands shoulder to shoulder with me at the urinals when there are plenty of spares, but it doesn’t annoy me like the car parking! 2 2 Link to post
